July 13, 20241 yr The man. The myth. The legend. That brought us the ability to draft Maxey. Put his name in the rafters lol
July 13, 20241 yr Theres a fan who brought up trading for Jake LaRavia. I didnt want to be the first to do it. So there it is. Another name to consider at PF later in the year when we can trade KJ.

Another name to consider at PF later in the year when we can trade KJ. Dude is gonna play this year for the Grizzlies. He can play the 3 or 4 in matchups. More pumped for the UConn kid, Cam Spencer. Kid can play and those juniors/seniors that just are connectors and win always end up making rosters. NBA loves potential too much
July 13, 20241 yr Council is looking like he will take a step this year. But there are a lot of times already in this game where he has space to fire a 3, and he continues looking for a drive. His shot will probably be improved this year. By next year, you want him to be unconscious with that and let it fly when space is given. Im frustrated watching him not take those shots in summer league.
July 14, 20241 yr If Dona dunks are called Bona Jams, Im also calling his blocks caulk blocks. He already has 3 in 16 minutes.
July 14, 20241 yr Aluma and Bona are consistently good. Council is very inefficient today. McCain doesnt appear to be ready for NBA minutes. He really needs to shoot lights out to be worth any run at all and hes not shot well enough so overall throughout SL so far.
July 14, 20241 yr McCain is supposed to be a phenomenal finisher. He nearly airballed a euro step fast break and then missed a layup about 2 possessions later. Im not trying to pick him apart possession by possession, but if the 3s arent falling, he cant afford to stink around the basket as well. The good thing, he has made some hustle plays on D. His offense though, is only marginally better than Jaden Springer's tonight. Thats not good.

July 14, 20241 yr Furkan Korkmaz scored 40pts in a Summer League game. I think maybe tap the brakes on some of the takes

I think maybe tap the brakes on some of the takes the difference is that Aluma has been very consistent throughout each game. Something that can not be said for McCain, or even Council considering his inefficiency last night. Was never true for Furk either. Aluma was a 4 year college player with some pro experience and is 25 years old. He is 6'9'' with athleticism and a bit of a 3 point stroke. He may be ready for a few minutes in a rotation.
July 14, 20241 yr 6ers posted thanks for everything...especially this. Best of luck in retirement. Then, this awesome pic

July 16, 20241 yr Why is it so hard to get McCain's name right? The other night it was McClain. Tonight its McCann. wtf?
