November 5, 20241 yr Guess it's no coincidence that rumor said Embiid could play tomorrow. They'll get started on his suspension now and then we should know which game becomes his debut.

November 7, 20241 yr I honestly can't remember the last time I cared less for a Sixers team - even during the process, I was following it because of the HInkie/Tanking element and the players were young and scrappy. Probably not since the Iguodala/Elton Brand teams....

Now, at the earliest, itll be is probably going to be December if Maxey has a serious hamstring strain, thatll be around 4 weeks or so. By then, Embiid or PG will likely be hurt again.

November 8, 20241 yr I'm sooooo glad Embid was able to go get his gold medal! I mean why be ready for the season when you can go get that right?
November 8, 20241 yr When I went to the 6ers/Memphis game I was actually impressed with Eric Gordon who I thought would just be a 3 and D player. Saw him getting to spots on the floor, and even to the basket shooting floaters and stuff. I thought, this is looking like a better pick up than I expected. Just read an article about how, outside of one 15 point outing, hes only shooting 37% from the floor, and generally needs to be better. Especially now with the Maxey injury. I think it mentioned Lowry needing to be better too and possibly giving Reggie Jackson and McCain a shot, but argues that those two dont have the leadership, and organizational skills that Lowry has. Basically says Gordon and Lowry need to play better. Im more in favor of playing McCain a bunch of minutes over this next month and see what happens.
