dayum. my next game is nov 22 so hopefully he's back by then.

First Ive seen a timeline for him. Looks like up to 2 weeks.

Maxey will be reevaluated in one week. The expectation is that he could miss up to two weeks.

If so, he could miss six or seven games, starting with Friday night’s contest against the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena.

Can we at least get Marc Zumoff back if they're going to be playing this badly?

No. These Sixers deserve a Kate Suck.

The Sixers sucking is a little painful each year as the nba product becomes less and less watchable. The 1 on 1/three point contest with bad defense is completely played out.

The young "stars” of this league aren’t that good or exciting enough for you to look up their schedules and make sure you watch that game in the evening. There are hardly any rivalries. The players are joking around and yapping it up with other players throughout the game. When a good or great player no longer feels like being on their team, they just ask for a trade and it’s granted. This has set a lazy president for the nba. Don’t bother working harder at your game and deficiencies, just find another team that either has better players or find your buddies to team up with. Or find a city you prefer to live in regardless of how competitive that team is. If you have a hang nail, take the day off, no worries.

As far as the game play, it’s a 3 point contest where most guys just stand around the 3 point line and watch the guy with the ball dribble iso out the shot clock.

I might do it later if I’m bored but if you went team by team and found their "young star”, I bet most of them if not all, are barely worth watching.

A guy like Ant who has the ability to be a great player, already thinks he is Jordan, Magic and Curry all rolled into one. His cockiness could be the thing that holds him back.

Huh? You know these dudes summer schedules and how much they work?

Giannis has stayed home, Ja will stay home, I bet Wemby will stay home. All small market men who aren't running for the bright lights. Who is the last guy that went running from his home team? Dame and he gave Portland over a decade and they couldn't put a team around him. Like seriously, who is the last star to move teams. PG is not a star and isn't even the 2nd best dude on a title contender.

Sounds like you have an issue with the NBA and not the players. Maybe they should get rid of the corner 3 or push the line out further, but to blame the players is silly for exploiting a weakness in the scoring.

What is with you and hating on ANT, because he is a confident is just dumb. We have been over this before but seems like you have an issue with a confident black man because Cooper Flagg plays the exact same way. His cockiness is what will make him continue to be great because he works at his craft and is relentless with it.

This seems like a guy that gets it and wants to be great.

It’s really weird that you defend this nba and these players like they are your best friends. Have you watched any other eras? This one is the worst by far, for all the reasons I have explained.

You said the young stars aren't there good, which I should just stop there and the conversation should end because clearly don't watch the game.

You haven't explained crap you just ****ed that they don't work on their games and just force trades because they are just lazy. Who is the last guy to do that?

Best friends lol just stop. You are the old man who wants everyone off his porch. Adapt or die. You do realize that in these previous "amazing" generations half the dudes where worthless especially bigs. The game has evolved and you just hate change then want to attack ANT for some odd reason. Oh no he is loud and confident oh on the horror seeing someone who is Fing awesome at his craft and he knows it.

Then go watch something else, the NBA has never been deeper with talent in the history of the game than it is now.

Sixers on my phone while the Eagles back ups kill the Cowboys

I wonder how long it will take for someone to explain what 'Dancing Bear' is to Kate Scott so she stops saying it every time they show Yabusele

Damn, what a lazy entitled kid who only shooting 48% from 3p to start the season.

Go watch bowling

The rookie showed up and balled out. I think the early injuries may really help come playoff time. Like Maxey in his rookie season being able to go out there and play minutes he otherwise would not have had, McCain getting 31 minutes and being the lead option in OT is huge

Yabusele was also great. He could fit nicely next to Embiid at the 4 with his ability to hit the 3.

Martin and Oubre have been the two biggest disappointments so far, I was expecting these guys to be a little more productive

The in season tournament for my axe throwing starts soon. Get hype!

So Embiid is eligible to return against the Knicks in the useless in season tournament game. They play the Cavs the next night in a game that actually matters. What's the chance he doesn't play vs the Knicks and he does vs the Cavs? I can't see him and George playing in a back to back coming off their injuries.

He sat out an IST game last year for no reason so I think the 6ers won't be afraid to do that again.

With all the BS and the fine they copped for the Embiid stuff, can they try and fine them again if they sit both guys and run a starting line up of Lowry, McCain, Oubre, Martin and Drummond against the Knicks?

Probably, but I dont think the 76ers care about 100k fines. Theyve done things so stupid and obvious that its hard to imagine they thought they werent going to get caught.

I missed this one going to the airport. Love to see McCain get this opportunity. Blessing in disguise, that Maxey injury is. This should result in another dynamic scorer seeing the floor with regular minutes even when the team is all healthy. Instead of some just ok Eric Gordon minutes, or Lowry minutes.

He has to play because the suspension was supposed to start on the game he was going to play - meaning that they were planning on playing him 3 games ago.

If he sits, then the league could accuse the team of lying about the return date, reimpose the suspension and fine them again.

I wouldn't be surprised if future violations involve draft picks.

He could conceivably get hurt again in practice and not play

I get that we paid Martin decently, but I dont see how we can go the whole season without starting Yabusele.

Martin is accustomed to bench roles, and I think would handle the move just fine.

Yabusele is a guy who does all the little things. And now, you see how well he and PG play off each other. With everyone healthy you can imagine Embiid/Maxey, as well as PG/Yabusele 2 man games.

Martin hasnt really found his flow offensively, and I think it might help him to move to the bench where he knows he will be one of the best players on the court during his minutes.

Martin could also be the product of being on the Heat. They are very good at getting the most out of players like Martin

Embiid plays two minutes and he goes to the locker room?  Comes back with his knee on ice?

Well I guess the 6ers just stuck it to the man. Suspension over. Back to resting. I mean "ramping up"

I think the guy is toast.  May be time for Joel to hang 'em up
