The scoring from that trio would be insane. Id like Ace Bailey for this team, as a 6'10'' guy who scores without needing the ball much. 2nd rounder needs to be a rim protector. Start trying to find the next center after Embiid. Where is Bassey at these days? lol

Thats not how theyre using him now and Grimes just appears to be a much better player. I kinda thought they might be able to unload Oubre at the deadline, possibly for a future 1st, or a protected 1st. But they werent committed enough to the tank yet.

But it seems theyve amped up the tank efforts lately and we cant seem to make any headway. 5 is ideal but its so close right now Im just hoping for more buffer between us and Toronto to ensure we at least get 6 at worst. We can still easily slip to 7 as of now. We still play Toronto once more. That game will be absolutely massive if we dont get more buffer between us.
March 24, 2025Mar 24 Also, Toronto plays Brooklyn twice more. Absolutely huge if Toronto can beat them twice. Builds the buffer between us and Toronto, and allows us to pull ahead of Brooklyn if we handle our own business appropriately.

But with those 3 games on Toronto's schedule, Toronto can get a lot of work done for us. With only about 10 games left, if Toronto can get those 3 positive results for us that is a massive help.

March 25, 2025Mar 25 Excellent loss. Smart not to play Grimes when McCollum got a rest night too. Toronto loss is big creating more of a buffer to prevent us from potentially falling to 7th. Unfortunately Brooklyn lost again too. Theyre really making it tough to get a grasp of 5 and hold it.
