NAW got 4/62 with a player option and a trade kicker. Nice deal for him.

Maybe something the 6ers can use to sweeten deals with the 2 guys they are trying to sign.

The NAW deal is now part of a sign and trade. Hawks are sending cash and a 2nd round pick.

Tyus Jones 1 year with Orlando. Nice move for them.

Kennard to the Hawks for 1/11

DARYL MAKING MOVES!!!

Thats little money. I dont know if thats part of an exception, or if its a vet min. Seems they may still be able to retain Yabu as well if its a vet min?

I guess Daryl is friend shopping. Keep a bahamian friend for VJ. Go get Maxey's friend. Who is next?

We got Trendon Watford on a 2-way. T-Wat!

not a 2 way. 2 year deal.

I dont know if he will play if they still keep Yabu. Maybe it makes Yabu a tradable asset if we can retain him for now.

Well, thats ok then. This guy is only 24 and seems to be capable of similar stats in a larger role.

I read 6'8'' with a 7'2'' wingspan.

He shot 39% from 3 both of the last 2 years, but needs in increase the volume.

The highlights looks like he can ball a little. I prefer this over Yabu since he is younger and cheaper. He seems more athletic and longer than Yabu too.

yep. younger and more athletic was supposed to be the plan. What makes the 2nd round pick such a head scratcher.

Nets Reddit page seems to be sad he is going and said he was gonna grow. Apparently he has had some injury issues though.

Im not so sad about Yabu not returning. It was sad that our highest hopes for this offseason were retaining both Grimes, and Yabu, essentially running it back with the same exact disaster team from last year. Now, at least something has changed. For better or worse, hopefully Morey has struck right as this Watford guy is about to break out.

We still need rebounding badly.

oh please please please
