Not really sure what the Portland trailblazer think they’re gonna get that’s better from the Nets. The nets aren’t gonna trade them Bridges for lillard. Everybody else on the nets is not better than Tyler Herro. Nets don’t own their own picks and suns picks aren’t valuable until down the road. Which by that point in time Pat Riley could be retired in the Miami picks might be just as valuable.

Find a 3rd team for Herro. He is Simons, Poole type of player

Just start the tank for these two

The issue is more do they just want picks or do they want a player back. Not sure they are gonna get a better player back then someone like Herro. They might get a kid on a rookie contract that has upside but unproven. Frankly if i were Portland I’d see if i could get garland and some stuff for lillard. Not sure if lillard and Mitchell even works but that’s not my problem if I’m Portland and if cleveland believes it can (assuming cleveland is fine paying mitchell, Mobley and lillard)

I think I would do Franz for Garland and love Franz

Makes sense for both teams

There’s been some rumors coming up about James Harden in the Clippers. I think the only way I could work is if he ops into that contract. And if he does, I have to believe that they are going to trade Paul George is that type of deal. Because I don’t see Morey sitting there trading James Harden away for a bunch of role players.

Its also reported the Bulls arent finding the expected trade market for LaVine, and they believe they should be getting a Beal type package or better. I guess its not been there.

Harden for PG, or LaVine is fine with me.

Tbh i rather have PG just cause his defense is better than Lavine. Also he becomes an expiring contract at the end of the year so aren’t locked into 3 more years til Lavine becomes an expiring contract. I could see the clippers doing this deal as they clear a ton of cap in 2024 offseason with the expiring contracts and also out of the contract of Powell who still has 3 years left. Plus morris was having issues with the clippers all year. Frankly maxey, powell, PG, tucker and embiid are your starters and off the bench have melton, morris, springer and Reed. Would love to sign a backup PG at that point

that looks really good.

backup PG has options too. For MLE maybe Jevon Carter.

Tbh I’d love to either have tucker off the bench or an upgrade at PF. I don’t entirely think it’s out of the question if harden is traded that tucker is moved. Likely? Not really but i don’t see it as off the table either.

Rather have LaVine over PG at this point.

PG is so injury prone and giving him an extension would be just bad business. Last three years he has played 54, 31, 56. Where LaVine played 58, 66 77 games.

Who says they’d give him an extension? He has a year left on his current deal and i can trade him away next year as an expiring contract if he opts into the year at 48 mil or if he opts out let him walk. I clear a ton of cap with him. Don’t see PG opting out if 48.7 mil

Tbh i rather not take Powell in the deal and just take Gordon, morris and PG. Can clear nearly 83 mil in expiring contracts (assuming PG did opt out)

Im still hoping for a Saric reunion.

Philly isn't a destination place in FA and if he is playing well he will get an extension. I wouldn't even put myself in PG OR Kawhi game

Possibly. If he’s playing well that means the sixers are likely in a better spot than they’d be with harden getting a 3-4 year extension.

But it’s also not a given after this year or next embiid doesn’t ask to be dealt. I don’t think they want a Lavine contract on the books if embiid leaves and not have more flexibility cause i think that contract maybe viewed as a not great contract as to why HE mentioned they may only get a beal type of deal in return. If embiid asks out this or next year then sixers could walk away from PG (or deal him on a 1 year contract/expiring), morris, Gordon and deal embiid and create cap flexibility in the rebuild. We are not a destination place but we also not tied up in contracts for whomever takes over for the rebuild. So then can take on some bad contracts which can be valuable in acquiring assets

Don’t get me wrong. I would be fine with either one in the scenario. But I can see the Sixers saying to themselves we don’t want to be tied down to Lavine for 4 years (or forced to just make a beal type of deal to just unload him) whereas they have the appeal for Paul George being out of the contract in a year and getting cap flexibility for 2024 offseason. or use him as an expiring in 2024 offseason. Now you and I both don’t think Philadelphia’s a destination. but I also think the Sixers and morey are dumb enough to think they are and believe if they have the cap space could make a splash

that said I still think harden is back on a 3-4 year deal which is the worse case scenario

Well Eric Gordon is a free agent so he’s not possible in that deal anymore

There goes our entire MLE. He will be signed 5 minutes in to free agency.

best case scenario is harden opting in & then being traded. i think we all know the sixers aren't winning a championship with the embiid/harden tandem.  running it back would be a nightmare to watch.

Bryce Griggs of Overtime Elite is joining the SL roster.

Bryce Griggs is a shifty 6-foot-2 guard that plays with rhythm. He has an above-average handle and a quick first step. He mostly scores in the midrange area and around the rim, with a developed runner. Griggs is known for being a good on-ball defender that uses his hands and feet well. Overall, he has a well-rounded skillset which is reflected in his season averages: 16.4 points, 7.9 assists, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game.

The main knock against Griggs is his outside shot, which is more of a work in progress. Griggs took a healthy sample size of threes, at nearly five per game, but only hit 24.9 percent of them. His free-throw percentage, which is typically a good indicator of where a player’s shot really is, was 64.2 percent.
