VJ locked down Brunson. I know he was tired too but still.

Grimes is showing in his contract year that he can handle a bit and get to the rim. The problem is, he moves a little too fast for himself. He is always a little out of control when attacking. If he could just slow down a bit, I think he would convert more and have less turnovers. He is a nice guy to have for this year for whatever run we will make so the young guys get some playoff experience. I am kind of glad we didn't sign him long term (except for the contract value for trade). VJ, Maxey and McCain should be the main guards. VJ, Maxey, McCain, Barlow, Watford is the young core moving forward. When the f is Watford coming back??

I'm not sure if you are joking but this is a major LOL. VJ is UNTOUCHABLE!!! I will humor you for a second though. If you take VJ and a combo of whatever other players go in that trade (McCain, Barlow, Watford, plus vet salary matching and picks) and add Giannis, we wouldn't make the Finals. Probably a 2nd round loss again.

Giannis wouldn't work with Maxey. They are both high volume guys who need the ball in their hands. Giannis won't win another ring as the lead guy. That style doesn't win deep in the playoffs anymore.

I'm not advocating for it. He is untouchable. Few Giannis rumors from talking heads mentioned VJ to get it done. Beyond stupid.

VJ will be dominant because of his 2 way play. When he gets a little stronger and adds a handle, its over. League will be on notice.

Hypothetical:  With the Trey Murphy trade rumors circling, would you trade a package headlined with McCain in it?  I am not sure if I would but his length and size would be tempting.  Can he become a knockdown 3 point shooter with better spacing on the Sixers?  McCain will be a lights out 3 point specialist.

I really think our current roster with an entire season to play together can make some noise in the post season.

Im only interested in trading guys who havent been relied on that much- Oubre who has been out a lot this season, Bona who stinks most nights, Walker who stinks almost every night... Maybe Watford since he has hardly played. MAYYYYBE Grimes for the right piece, since he doesnt seem to be a needed piece of the future here.

Mostly, Im looking for young upside players who dont need a lot of minutes right away. I dont want to upset the chemistry like we do every year. I want to continue to build it.

If they can get a true starter at Center like Zubac, ok. If they can get a true starting 4 man over Barlow ok. But I think Barlow fits the team perfectly. We dont need another star taking shots. Team is best with the guards dominating and the rest playing 3 and D.

Id even be happy to trade those above mentioned players for just picks (except Grimes).

I’m not trading Barlow or Watford, no way. We needed guys like these for years and now we have two really young ones who haven’t even started to hit their potential.

It would be amazing if Barlow started working out with Maxey in the offseason and developed more offense. We could be looking at another budding star.

No Grimes, Barlow, or Edgecombe tonight. All sick. Gotta be a big game for Maxey and McCain with PG pitching a few more points as well.
