For years people told him to leave Portland and not be loyal anymore because he wasn’t gonna win there. Instead, he went back and signed that contract for that Supermax and put himself in this spot. And then today it comes out he would’ve played for the Golden State Warriors or Miami. But then they got Chris Paul and that was not possible. So a couple weeks ago it came out from his camp or Lillard that he didn’t want to go to a team that had two other stars and join up to have 3 stars. "No super team”. Meanwhile, the two teams he was willing to go to that’s exactly what it would be. So either you’re a hypocrite or you have people in your camp there leaking BS that you don’t actually believe.

They had a wing in Josh Hart and gave him away, other than that no real wings to compete. They also asked him to sit so they could tank as he was having a career year. Every player is going to sign the deal the get traded. Only bozo to not do that is Harden.

That’s fine but I don’t want to hear you leaking stories a week Before you requested a trade that you don’t want to hook up with two other stars to make three stars (super team) and then a week later you’re crying your way to Miami and complaining that you only wanna go to Miami and won’t go anywhere else to other potential teams. Meanwhile, you literally just told the world or your camp did that you didn’t wanna team up with two other stars to be three stars because you’re always grinding and that’s not you. So either he’s full of crap or his camp is putting things out there that aren’t true. That piece of information didn’t just come from reporters it came from either Damian Lillard or his camp. again, no one forced him to sign that Supermax. Frankly, he was smart to sign it because you get the money you can then hope you can get traded to a place where you can win a title. The Portland Trail Blazers aren’t going to send him to a team that has no chance to win a title or being a better position to win a title than the Portland trailblazers are currently. Yeah that’s not good enough for him. The fact that he is whining and telling teams he’d only go to Miami is BS. Even KD gave the nets more than just the suns to deal him too even thought Phoenix was the place he wanted to go. He was willing to go to Miami or Boston too based off reports but he preferred phx and frankly phx likely had the best offer as i don’t think Boston ever offered brown to add to that he reportedly would’ve went to the Warriors before they traded for Paul. So the only 2 teams he was willing to go to was the team that won the title the previous year and has two or three All-Stars (how you feel on klay now) and the team that got to the finals this year that has two All-Stars. So he didn’t want to team up with 2 other stars yet demanding one place and open to another that’s exactly that.

July 7, 20232 yr I like Council's ability to get to the FT line but can use some development. Terquavion Smith looks like he can be a bench scorer for some teams right away. Springer should be included in a Harden or Harris trade. If Thybulle can make 11M a year, there is value for someone who can defend like Springer. But we have Tucker already and cant have another offensive 0 out there. Petrusev is extremely disappointing to me. He hasnt attempted a 3 in the last 2 games but he should be looking to prove that ability in the NBA. I know he doesnt touch the ball a lot though. Hoping he may do more if he gets opportunities on the actual team.
