September 1, 20232 yr Its weird because Ive been one of the most anti-Simmons people out there since well before it was ok to be so. But I feel a slight bit of respect for him to say that after he knows how hated he is here. If he were ever to follow through and actually get traded here, or willingly sign here as a free agent it say something about his mental toughness if he is able to come face this crowd again, and and try to gain acceptance. Of course I dont want him back and I hope it never happens. If it did, Id hope its a vet min type of deal where the FO sets his expectations as a bench player who's role is purely as a defensive stopper. In that scenario, where he comes back to where he has been booed, and grew to be hated, and accepts a role as the backup role player he is, Id have to respect it.

September 8, 20232 yr Other than "Why him?" which i think everyone wonders, the thing is that now we have too many players on the roster. So the move creates a few other questions. Who is bad enough to get cut for Danny Green? Is a trade coming that will make room for him? And that pretty much brings me back to, "Why him?"
