June 1, 20233 yr Looks ugly IMO I actually like the rainbow Eagle logo they switch to during June but don't like that mural at all
June 1, 20233 yr It's not the best mural I've ever seen but I've no issue with it and I support the message behind it. Who other consenting adults choose to love is none of my business and unless they're a member of my family it doesn't affect my life at all, I cannot fathom getting angry about it or symbols that try to promote understanding of it. Similarly if the NFL decided it was no longer going to have all the awareness weeks and salute to service nonsense, I'd be just as happy with that because painting a mural on club walls is all very well, but the fact remains that the only SEC defensive player of the year in the history of the award to never play a regular season snap in the NFL is Michael Sam, and that just about sums up how much all this stuff means beyond corporate PR.

I heard a celebrity was feeling a little frisky and unloaded his ar-15 into a case of eagles branded beer cans. If people don't post videos of their displeasure and threaten boycotts against these woke companies, then clear injustices like this mural will simply continue to happen and eventually be normalized and we certainly can't have that.
