and from what I understand they're maintenance nightmares.

the only jeep worth anything is the grand cherokee, and it's still overpriced but less of a POS than the rest of the lineup.

the new broncos look cool but are junk. that said you might be able to pick one up relatively cheap so when she inevitably crashes it somewhere it's not a huge loss.

a used FJ Cruiser might work. they're much more reliable than a jeep. 

edit: holy crap used FJ Cruisers are pretty expensive.

Yeah FJs are in big demand I think cause they don’t make them anymore.  I think they’re ugly AF

They  remind me of a toy Tonka truck, but not one based on an actual real vehicle if that makes any sense.

The jeep engines are easy to work on at least. I am used to Audi service bills…

i mean hell a new top line 4 door wrangler is like 70k….f that noise
