I knew someone whose dream car was a 911. He played center for Manhatten college, he is 6 10. When he got his first "real" job he went and test drove one, and then went home and cried lol.

They never really appealed to me. But I have done all Porsches for over a decade now. 2 Panameras, a 911, and now 2 Taycans. I thought about a Ferrari, but just don’t want to be that guy.

I'm 6'1 and about 220 (need to hit the gym, should be more like 205 with my build). I'd definitely need to see how the car fits.

The Taycan is a sedan. The body style is similar to the Panamera. It shouldn't be an issue.

Y'all are making me feel like a schlub. I drive a Subaru Forester. Probably will switch to a nice Volvo once the house reno is done. I have zero desire to drop a bunch of money on a car regardless of means.

I basically buy cars like I'm a lesbian that owns a mildly successful small business

Same.  I'm so not a car guy.  I drive a Honda Pilot.  If it doesn't break down and is big enough to hold my crap, I'm happy.

I'm sure those cars are nice but it would be wasted on me, like giving expensive wine to a hobo.

I just want fuel efficient and reliable.  If I had it my way we would have been driving Prius' the past decade or so  

 

Now I get 200 miles of range for somewhere between $7-9.  Because my car runs on clean, reliable energy we generate from the sun

that said, if things work out they way they should, i am getting a ram trx ... not only will i catch a porche', i'll treat it like a speed bump when i do.

You definitely spend lots of time and effort compensating, it must exhaust you.

We just bought a brand new Pallisade, and we love it.  It's huge.  We had to upgrade from a smaller SUV.  With 2 daughters (2 years old and 7 weeks old), we could barely fit everything into it to drive to the beach.
