I seem to remember a few times seems hurts forced him the ball but if the dudes open get him the ball

I have no complaints especially on a day the slim reaper seemed disinterested, going out of bounds early of a first down , then not going up after the ball on the pic. Just an off game for him🤷‍♂️

Brown is always open especially if he's isolated on 1 guy. That man is a monster. Glad he got his targets. My guess is Smitty wasn't 100% so they featured him Monday. Dallas needs more looks though.

Here's the problem, when 50% of your targets go the the same receiver DBs begin to bait you, just like he was baited on the throw to.....guess who, Brown..

If they don't correct that sheet Hurts' INTs are going to skyrocket and the team will begin to lose games.

I don't remember the play you are mentioning, hurts first Int was targeting Swift who zigged when he should of zagged.

Second pick was the safety making a helluva play when Smith didn't go up for the ball so I'm not sure the above mentioned.???

I don't think Smitty knew the Safety was coming. He was really nonchalant on that play like he was expecting an easy TD. Reaction was almost like 'damn where'd he come from'

Yup.

Smitty had a weird game, just seemed out of it

Maybe his new born has been forcing him to sleep more than 4 hours a day😁

He was nursing a hammy last week so maybe he wasn't all the way back yet. New born will do it though.

Well yeah I mean kelce is kind of stating the obvious here, I mean that's the whole point of the RPO is forcing the D to account for the QB as a runner, now when one has a QB that is t much of a threat as a runner than the D can put their focus else where.

Great thing with swift is those runs that were 5 yards for Miles Sanders or Gainwell are 10 and 15  for swift because he's so explosive.

I know the WRs don't really like just running the ball all day but if that's what the D gives em that's how it's gotta be

Defenses are going to have to pick their poison And for now looks like they're choosing to pick death by RB.

We'll see if the coaches stick with it and how long until defenses start creeping up to stop the run.

Let them come up. Then they get burned by the passing game. The point is so many are doubting Jalen again while failing to understand his dynamic to this offense. It’s hard to completely shut them down as long as they stay patient and take what the defense gives them.

This is what happens when you have a beast of an OL and a defense scared of the QB taking off.

The play I mentioned was the second pick, you call it a helluva play, I call it a bait job......the DB was clearly anticipating that throw.

Keep in mind, your opponents study film,  how many times has Hurts thrown to Brown in that exact same spot?

Even if he was baiting him to get there was a helluva play.

Didn't help that Smith didn't attack the ball ..😒

You mean Brown?

Funny thing I read from a poster which I thought was true, he said that Smith played with very little effort.  I'm thinking he was told Brown and Godert would te the main targets for the entire game and he was going to be more or less a decoy.

I know it sounds crazy but that's what Quez was told last year, he'd be the decoy and Brown and Smith would be the targets all year long.....and that came from Sirianni.

Can you believe that foolishness??

No it was Smith on the Int.

But yeah I agree, Quez played like crap last year as he was told he was basically a decoy

If they went into the game telling a guy he wasn't going to be targeted I'd be pissed too, I'm not sure that's the case though I mean that's shooting yourself in the foot from the get go.

Having said that I think smiths play had more to do with him being on the injury report all week leading up to the game, hopefully he's feeling better.

Quez should be back this week as well to get his 1 target a game, we'll see what he does with it

If Quez can't mentally handle having minimal targets and performing when he does get some action, it's time to give Oz a shot. The 4th guy in the pecking list maybe even 5th when Swift is on the field can't be getting in his feelings if he's not targeted often.

Can’t wait for the league to ban that play only to watch the Eagles spread teams out and still get the first on a sneak. 😂

After 2021 Quez looked primed to have a bigger role he was coming off a 600 yard year and against the Bucs in the playoffs could of had 200+ yards if hurts didn't over throw him or fail to get him the ball  a few times.

He was expected to be the Z WR opposite Smitty then Howie made the draft day trade for hurts best friend AJ Brown, Nick came out and publically stated that the offense would run through AJ Smith and Goedert and Quez would be relegated to scraps and it seemed Quez coasted through the majority of the year as he was phased out due to no fault of his own.

After having a good camp, reportedly he viewed to shut all the philly haters up then he hurt his hammy and here we are...

When Quez is right mentally and physically he helps this offense be more dangerous, he's a legit deep threat which can take the top off a defense.

Not sure why any eagle fan wouldn't root for his success, but I agree if he doesn't get his head screwed in then OZ will and should get more snaps.

If he's not making plays are you surprised that fans would rather see someone else in there getting a shot for those limited targets? He brought it on himself with all the 'elite' talk this off-season though. That didn't help.

Can't make plays if he's not on the field,  people were on him far before he said any thing about being elite.

Like I said I hope he does well with his limited opportunities,  him playing well is nothing.g but good for the team.

I get fans being disappointed but when that disappointment turns to openly rooting against a guy that's when I shake my head.

I don't see people rooting against him. I see people doubting him. There's a difference IMO. There's a good reason to doubt him at this stage given what he put on the field last year. He has to prove his big talk now as the #4 or #5 receiver. He's the least of the concerns really. Shouldn't be any pressure on him with all of the studs that are ahead of him. Oz seems to have a knack to get open so he better get out there soon or he's going to be the #6 guy in the pecking order.

The Seth Joyner Show on Comcast SportsNet right now.  What the heck is this show?  Seems odd to me that he's no longer on the Eagles postgame show but he now (or has had for who knows how long) has a show on Comcast.

I like OZ but Philly fans are notoriously obsessed with backup players whether it's the QB or the 4th WR etc...

Oz has 2 catches on the season, his knack for getting open in this offense is based off 2 catches...that's a pretty small sample size especially when Quez has done more in this offense.

That you don't see what I see doesn't mean it's not happening.

I've read more than a few posters here and on other eagles pages saying Quez is trash and sucks and needs to be gone blah blah blah and praising Oz like he's the next Travis fulgham.

Like I said I hope Quez does well, I was disappointed in him last year as well, I hope Oz does well, the more playmakers the eagles have the better and when Quez is playing right and making plays the eagles offense is better.
