I didn’t call the Qb dumb. I think there is a lot of balancing of ego stroking going on more than we are privy to…I just hope they get back to smart/boring football instead of this emotional/reckless mess

Hurts (or Sirianni, whoever) was dumb for throwing TD pass to AJ Brown, giving Washington another chance at it, instead of throwing it to Swift for first down and run clock out for a game-winning FG. I wasn't happy about AJ Brown TD when I first saw for that reason. Someone needs to ask Hurts and Sirianni about it

The problems with this team are dumb QB run calls, bad play callling, too soft on defense, those are the problems

Okay. Buy.

Yeah I said the same thing a few pages back. This team is still a work in progress and running out of time.

The good news is this team keeps coming up with ways to win games. I’m not happy about how they played today either, but the result makes me very happy.

The pass defense as usual is horrendous. New Coach but same 10 yard cushion when it's 4 yards for the line to gain.

4-0 and we still haven't played a full 60 minutes of good football.

I’ve barely seen a good 2 quarters in a row

Hurts did not look happy at the end. That needs to serve as the wake up call.

Hurts was fine bar a couple of iffy runs, 320 ish passing over 60% completion with 2 TD's is good enough, we just stopped running the ball at the end which was dumb.

The offense isn't to blame for that abortion of a TD drive for Washington at the end of regulation, or the defense playing off coverage all game, 10 yard cushions with an 8 yard line to gain is just inviting short comeback routes and shallow cross, same as they did to us last year.

Love Hurts, but I'm just waiting for... keep the main thing the main thing. Only thing that matters is the W.

Someone should remind him not to care about Browns feelings.

That was tough to beat the refs and our own offensive coordinator.  God bless Jake Elliott.

So it doesn't matter that we almost lost to the freaking Commies lol got it

Team showed resilience today but also shouldn't be in a game this close with that team.

Some horrible officiating calls went against us at key moments but good on the team to keep battling

First game this year where the passing offence really seemed to click

The D giving up that score at the end of the game is inexcusable

Some really questionable coaching calls: settling for 3 at the start of 4th quarter with a 3rd down run, end of game clock management, OT deep shot

I hated that game. Hated everything about it except that the Eagles won

Me and another poster have come to the conclusion that its part of the culture as far as defense is concerned....its a bend but dont break philosophy and has been here since JJ passed.....so it matters not who is the DC, the culture stays the same.....

Well I was 36 when this game started now for some reason I’m 56

He was supposed to be different and more creative. He hasn't been

Coaching is letting this team down. You have Swift in the backfield; run the clock and kick the field goal. And you can thank AJ Brown for the unsportsmanlike - totally unnecessary. Just stupid football. Cocky and stupid.

Brown literally set the ball on the ground, he didn’t even do anything.  Those DBs taunted him all game and didn’t get anything called on them.

NFC Beast battle.  Give Washington their props.  Reminds me of the Giants Win during the Super Bowl LII Run.  The guys never gave up.  Jalen kept his composure the entire time.  AJ Exploded and Jake saved the day.   Your Philadelphia Eagles remain Undefeated at 4-0.

Exactly.  not that the eagles played there best, they didn't.  but usually one of the 2 meeting against each nfc east team is a tough one for the favorite.  we've been in the commanders shoes and got the w when no one thought we would.  it's inevitable, but give the eagles credit for making just enough plays to get the w.  that's a good sign, but lots of work to do.  Hopefully howie is using this game like the commander game last year to get some defensive help.  I think we are going to need it.

I wasn’t criticising hurts bud I was saying he didn’t look happy.

I'm glad we got the win. We need to do better against a scrambling qb. Learn from it and move on imo. Division opponent who came ready to play and in which things did not go their way but they still escaped with the win.

I think the decision by hurts to get the touchdown late in the 4th instead of trying to run the clock out is going to get alot of conversation.

He has the same philosophy as Gannon but blitzes more and apparently more creative. But for me, there should be a balance with the "bend don't break". You can't play 7-10yds off when they only need 4yds for a 1st on 3rd down.

Directly the results of both  Coordinators. They are inexperienced trash right now.

Absolutely...that has to be the weakest taunting penalty call I have ever seen...the refs were diabolical all game!
