There were plenty of stupid penalties called, but once again, none of them cost us the win. 

 

I know things haven't been pretty all the way to 4-0, but sometimes there are things that don't go your way. If you can keep achieving your goal despite those things, there's a resilience factor that shouldn't be overlooked. This is a good TEAM.

What I would say and I’ve said to my Mrs tonight is you don’t want to play your best football in September/ October. She thinks the SB will be KC and SF but I keep telling her it’s way too early.

I don't blame Hurts fully. Someone dialed up that call. Siri is responsible for situational football. He failed there.

The issue right now seems to be the play makers on this offense are not just happy to play a supporting role. Smith doesn’t look entirely happy and AJs issues have been seen by all.

I don’t know he just seems disinterested at times. Like his demeanour is like he’s not going to get the ball.

I don’t get that vibe at all.  He makes some ridiculous circus miraculous catch almost on a weekly basis.

I will add that Goedert, Smith, and AJ Brown, should start looking in the mirror and figure what they can do to fix the issues in the Red Zone.

I know people will be questioning the touchdown but there is no way to know what happens if they play for that field goal. Could have fumbled and lost to a field goal. Could of had the field goal blocked and returned for a TD and lost. The outcome at the end was the best possible outcome. Rolling it back only creates possibilities for a loss.

Exactly what I see. His body control is just beyond incredible to me....I love this dude more than I did with Desean Jackson.....

Smith is the MOST laid back player on the team.  Plays video games rather than goes out to party from what I recall reading.  He is sub chill. He is chill squared.  He is the most chill.  He shows up (even when sick earlier in the week) and just does what he does. Run amazing routes and catch footballs. Not a peep out of him.

My take on the game is more optimistic than most.

WFT ALWAYS shows up.  Always.  Broke our streak last year.  We squeeked past them.  Count it as a W. 4-0 baby.  

Hurts took care of his body instead of taking chances. He threw some good stuff today. He threw at least 3 AMAZING passes and nothing that made me scream WTF.   

Play calling was pretty good. Sure at least four plays I didn't like. The designed QB keeper late was dumb.  But the other keepers weren't.  So hard to ****.

You got a chance to score. You score.  AJ screwed up. Sucks. He is who he is but at least he steps up and admits it. Better to grind? Sure but how pissed can you be over a TD FORCING THEM TO GO THE LENGTH OF THE FIELD?  

Defense was down a couple of guys but the penalties which were beyond ticky-tack (and yes they called some in our favor that were also RIDICULOUS) kept drives alive when drives were dead.

LBs played pretty good no?  Did I miss something? Morrow has to be on the field.  There is no other answer that is acceptable.   

Our kicker is locked in.  Like LOCKED THE F' IN.  Scary good.

I'm annoyed with Slay more than anyone.  Two times WILDLY out of position. And fairly meh on the plays he did defend and meh on their last TD.  Seemed half assed today.  I hope he was sick or something because I didn't like the effort.  But I am not mad at the penalty which was a horse-ish call.  

Not thrilled with Big Country Dickerson.  That is stupid.  And infuriating in a game where the D was offsides repeatedly with their hands.  THAT annoyed me more than Big Country's hand being offsides.
