It was a joke, I thought I made it obvious enough but it can be hard to judge tone sometimes.

  • I'm here, thanks VaBeach. I appreciate all the EMB members that support us in these days, I does matter. The members that support the other side… I'm speechless.

  • Propaganda? Or hard truths terrorist sympathizers don't want to hear?

I like Diehard for the most part and I don't want to gang up on him.  I just think it's really strange how the right completely and totally disregards any calls about racial or religious bias or hate unless it's related to Jewish people. They should really extend that mindset to other things, because when it strictly relates to one group, it screams of a political calculation and not a legitimate concern.

I do too, he's good people, and unlike wv mike, zuke, etc, he at least makes an attempt to find common ground. Just needs to stop watching CNN and FNC or whatever.

If I came off that way then I need to do a better job. I literally tried to say in my first post that I support what they did yesterday. I'm against anyone who does this crap to anyone. Period. I'm not sure how else I could have supported what is happening to protect people like that kid. I see widespread hatred across campuses not just with Patrick Dai but people like that poor kid just walking to class and being surrounded and pushed. I also have said over and over Biden was doing a great job on this. Disagreeing with the pause or saying I thought something was wrong not knowing the other things isn't me being political. I do take responsibility that I could have phrased things better. I still think he's doing a good job. Disagreeing with a few things happens and doesn't take away from that.

I'll also say he's handling this much better than Trump would have. He would totally have been too far the other way and Muslims would be being targeted in much higher levels than we are unfortunately seeing now. I'm glad he isn't in charge.

I lumped you in with the other guys in a prior post, and I shouldn't have done that.

As for news sources, any 24hr cable news network is gonna be garbage. Way too much editorializing meant for their targeted echo chamber. Same for some websites, I try to steer clear of anything labeled as op-ed for the same reason. They're all fallible, and prone to bias, but I usually find far less of an agenda with CBS, Reuters, AP, etc compared to FNC, MSNBC, and CNN. NYT and WSJ used to be pretty good, but they've had some real bad takes the last few years too.

Edit

Never mind. I don't want to know

I'll add a sorry to you, Van, and TNT for my hot head and taking a bad day out on you all. I could have been a lot more chill and not a POS myself

How did Trump get brought into this thread?

Because someone pointed out that it's pretty much exclusively liberals that are terrorizing Jewish kids on college campuses so the libtards in here started screeching about Trump and Charlottesville to deflect.

I don't think the conflict between Israel and Palestine is resolved quite yet but I'll check Twitter when I get home and let you know.

It’s all good man. I didn’t have to keep pushing your buttons the way I did so I owe you an apology as well. We don’t always agree, but I think we probably agree on more than not. Even when we don’t, I believe you are coming from an honest position and it’s not just politics.

I appreciate that. I haven't had the right opinions in the past and I'm honestly trying to be more in the middle.

I have not had the "right” opinion more than I did, but they are just opinions. The fact that we can look back on our past opinions and think they are wrong, just means we are growing and we are open to new and changing information. I could be and probably am still wrong on most issues, but my opinion is mine and it’s based on the best information I have seen. I couldn’t care less about parties, religions, or any other way we divide ourselves. (Except for cowboy fans, eff them). I don’t want to be the old man yelling at the sky and telling kids to get off my lawn. Live long, drop dead!!!

thumbs up to @Diehardfan and @Tnt4philly

Lol

What a bunch of clowns

It's funny because you guys are trying so hard to make it seem like the administration is siding with Hamas. They've flat out condemned Hamas unequivocally. You guys then claim they've been silent on antisemitism when they clearly haven't. Then when confronted with evidence of such, it's still not good enough because the words weren't specifically referring to "actual threats." It's so so predictable which is why I said tnt will be having to post the same links a hundred times before you guys finally catch on.
