I'm going back on radio silence for a while.

See you in the fall.

We are doomed to fail because Jalen Hurts is QB1.

He can't figure it out.

He is gonna get Sirianni fired.

If Nick gets fired it's because his gameplan sucked again

Will he sabotage the team with all the talent?  Now that he doesn’t like the coaching staff?

Can't win it all in this league without passing TDs. No amount of rushing TDs will make up for that.

There have been teams that won the SB without a passing TD.

Patriots SB 53

Broncos SB 50 (neither team had a passing TD)

Steelers SB 40

:P

Hines Ward threw a TD pass in SB 40.

or Randall El threw it to Ward. One of the two.

The context for him was a QB needs to have passing TDs. So there. :P

So we could have DeVonta Smith throw a trick play pass to AJ Brown, and Hurts with 3 rushing TDs. Super Bowl! :towel:

Or even Philly G throwing one to Hurts

But then the idea of a TE throwing a TD to a QB in the SB would just be silly

That kind of play would be special. Do you think it would ever get called by Philly?

You guys are living in bizarro world. Sheesh!

What next, you think they'll make a statue commemorating the play?

Fantasy land!

I like Hurts, but I'm looking forward to the Saquon Special. Feed the RB you gave a big contract to.

I hope they do that.

Saquon Special would be fine. My only concern with Saquon is that he hasn't been a model of health the past few years. Try to make sure he's performing at a high level at the end of the season/post season.

And that will last 3 weeks until he gets hurt for 10 weeks.

Outside of 1 season, he's never missed more than 3 games a season.

And if I remember correctly, he had a high ankle sprain twice in very unlucky plays. So, not really injuries that can be related to poor conditioning. It's just bad luck that he rolled his ankle twice.

He also had a bad O line, now he'll have a strong one. Hoping it works out!

Just frustrating that Hurts demonstrated his passing skills on the road to the SB. The deep pass threat has more or less disappeared since then.

The offense is stacked (a couple concerns on the O line but still) and Kellen Moore is in the house to fix things. They will have no excuses, they need to perform in all areas, including Hurts. I know it sucks to change coordinators so often but he will need to overcome it along with the entire offense, go out and prove it. I do expect it might take a few games in to correct some terminology/communication issues, routes, etc. But they also have an easier schedule. They have a Super Bowl window and need to rise to the challenge.

He was also playing half of every season on what is generally agreed to be the worst field in the league.  I have high expectations for his health and production on a better surface.

Just a friendly reminder that the title of this thread remains bullocks and the OP is moron.

Thank you for your time.

Jalen has looked sharp in camp so far. Seems to be assimilating the new offense well.

Just saying. (Yeah, I know it's just camp and the pads have just been broken out.)

15 picks and 9 fumbles in 2023 for Hurts.  $23MM signing bonus in 2023 and $179MM guaranteed.  We all hope that he plays up to his contract in 2024 and beyond.  Hopefully this good week in camp bodes well, but it’s hardly any reason to flame the OP for calling it the way he sees it.  That’s a whole lot of money in 2023 and, coincidentally, a lot of regression at the same time.
