If that is McCown and he is learning under O'Connell this year, yes he should be a consideration for next year.

The problem is that he will do well and then get a HC gig the next year.

Bottom 10 O-line

4th worst ypc run game in the league

WR Diva who quit on a route

Goedert gets injured every 5 seconds.

Hurts still has 11 TDs and 1 turnover and led them to good enough for 5-0.... but AJ quit.

Mahomes threw a 99 yard pick 6 and was clapping after. He is missing wide open guys. Is it Minshew time for KC at 2-3? (of course not)

The best punishment I can wish on anyone who wants McKee now is that they have to go through life as themselves.

😂

you're not wrong but you're not right for that

Hurts All-Time Rankings

QB win % 10th

Passer rating 19th

Interception % 9th

Completion % 24th

TD to INT 15th

YPA 32nd

Rush TDs 57th

Playoff Passer rating 15th

Playoff completion % 5th

Playoff INT % 6th

Playoff YPA 38th

Playoff Rushing TDs 9th

SB Passer Rating 6th

SB Completion % 1st

SB Rushing TDs 2nd

And there are people who hate him and want McKee or wish for Lamar Jackson instead.

How did you enjoy the Eagles after the Super Bowl? oh, I just wished we had Lamar. 🤣

He got paid AND he's now got himself a ring. So, that means he's a trash QB. Ok cool.

I'll give him a couple of more years to come out of this phase of being a "$$ paid, SB winning QB". Hell, I have the time to wait. 😜

Interesting to see how Nick Wright and Chris Simms try and spin Hurts’s performance today….

Hurts can suck for 7 weeks straight. Then have 1 good game and the Hurts nut huggers come out in full force. Bizarre behavior

But he didn't.

It must suck for you to see a game like today's game. I'm sorry your day was so miserable.

You just made up a scenario that has never happened as a coping mechanism hahahahahaha.

No one hates to see the Eagles win and Hurts play great worse than supposed Eagles fans who's entire personality is criticizing their team's QB.

One fifty eight point three

Hurts had his 5th game of 300+ yards 3+ TD passes and 0 picks. He has 73 starts.

McNabb had 7 games like this in 142 starts

Foles had 2 in 32 starts

Randall had 3 in 107 starts

The sad thing is that there are a small number of posters who seemed genuinely disappointed that Wentz didn’t beat Hurts.

What is bizarre behaviour is routing against your Super Bowl MVP, 1 x all pro, 2 x pro bowl franchise quarterback and being disappointed when he proves you wrong again and again.

I'm not rooting against him. LOL

Can't compare stats like that. Poor McNabb had one year with a true #1 WR. And RC played in a totally different era.

I have a soft spot for Wentz and would like to see him have a career resurgence the same way Baker, Darnold and Geno (well not this year) have had. This was the week I was happy for him to be the guy he has been since he left Philly. It's sad, his best is MVP quality. He just won't get back to that again and is nowhere near the player that Hurts is right now

I think the talent is still mostly there but he has been mentally broken for a while now.

Made some really nice throws yesterday but also some really bad mistakes. Shame as McCarthy doesn’t look great and he had an opportunity in a good situation with a great receiving core.

Real leadership and the ability to perform when the pressure is at its highest are 2 qualities that can't be taught effectively and that Hurts possesses.

He also had the respect of the players around him.

He doesn't get too high or too low.......2 things a QB must deal with during a long NFL season and post season.

The f----- guy just wins.

So I don't give a sh-- if he's ranked at the bottom of QB ratings, rankings, or media and fans opinions.......He wins.....he's been to 2 super bowls and has played lights out.

WTF else do people want??

Soft spot for Wentz? Pshht. Please remember how bent out of shape he was went we drafted Hurts. Instead of declaring that he welcomed all competition, he moped and pushed his way out of town.

I have nothing but contempt for him.

Perfect passer rating. I just wish this would be more consistent. I want to see more consistency from the offense as a whole. The Eagles offensive line is struggling with injures, and they can’t block in the run game at all. Never seen their backs get hit this often in the backfield since the Buddy years.

Got paid to:

Have a perfect game

Win the Super Bowl

Throw perfect long balls.

Hurts legendary game vs the top 3 pass D in Minnesota under constant blitz only gets better after a rewatch.

This was not Foles vs the Raiders where Oakland did not belong on the field. (Foles was amazing for 7 TDs but Oakland could not cover anyone)

This was not Greatest Show on Turf scheming guys open for Warner all day.

Most 158.3s are a QB and an offense and a scheme that is all at 100 vs a D that has little to nothing that day.

This was not that. This was almost completely on Hurts and DeVonta with a dash of AJ.

Watch the bit about AJs route before Hurts has to guide him with hand gestures to go deep and allow Hurts to throw him wide open.

JT's quote was something like. "I have no idea what the hell this route is: while drawing a 45 degree squiggle where AJ just kind of hangs out with the DB.

The rollout throw was 100 out of 100 fantastic. AJ does a nice job coming back to the ball but you see 25 WRs do that every week.

He is probably the best QB in the league right now but anyone thinking he is out of the top 3, let alone 5 just knows nothing about football.

No one set Hurts up to have a 158.3 passer rating day. He just did it through force of will and excellent ability + skill.

The seam route to AJ was just another perfect throw in a day of perfect throws.

He missed out on 4 or 5 TDs and 350-400 yards because Patullo kept calling runs into the line. I've never seen a QB that hot get and still the OC keeps calling runs before Sunday.

The garbage that votes for NFC player of the week gave it to CMC. THANK YOU! Keep disrespecting Hurts. It just powers him up more.

You can watch the whole analysis here.

Genuine question… was he blitzed a lot? Because I thought the Vikings were a high percentage zonal team? And that’s what Hurts has struggled against a lot this season. He’s actually played really well against the blitz all year to the point where I think teams will blitz him less.

76.9 blitz rate

11-14 233 yards 2 TDs perfect rating vs blitz
