No need to apologize for that either UK.  You’re not a pom pom boy.  You see what most of us see.  This team has gotten very lucky and won games in spite of ourselves much like tonight.  And it’s frustrating because the talent is here to be a dominant team on the field for 4 quarters.  The 9-1 is great, but it’s hard to get through the playoffs with a team that is skating by on a lot of one score games.  Chiefs lost a his game more than we won it, and that’s the part that scares the sheet out of me when we get to the playoffs.  Can’t expect other team to have 3 drops on their last drive too often

The only reason the Chiefs scored 0 points in the 2nd half, but gave up 14 points to us including big plays (Hurts pocket passing) is solely because the Chiefs nothing the Eagles did?

Ok

100% agree with this post. Just when I think our coordinators are learning from past mistakes, they keep making the same dumb decisions. We have too much talent to wast on these coordinators. We should look hard to upgrade both decisions this off-season as they are our weakest links.

The swing passes tonight… What on earth was that all about? Time after time and it just kept getting blown up.

You’re still here? Shouldn’t you be fluffing Jalen Hurts by now?

I think it was a little bit of both really. There were some bad drops in there to be fair. But look we didn’t play well on offense so there’s a lot more to come from us.

Oh for sure it’s not all one way or the other.  I think the bend but don’t break defense gets a bad rap when the WRs make ridiculous catches but they don’t get the same credit when it works to force bad throws.

Yes, coordinators definitely holding this team back.

Time after time it failed and he kept calling it. It was insane and stupid. No excuse.

Agreed. Tonight the secondary made some plays and got some breaks. Another night some of those drops are actually caught and it’s a very different story. Just got to try and do enough each week I guess and this team keeps doing that.

I'm happy they get wins, I'm not happy about the execution. I know it's hard for some to understand. 🤔

I cite critical things & issues all the time, boo bad plays, etc. But I also call out the good plays, the resilience, the adjustments, the big plays, the shutout in the 2nd half, the sack, the INT, the go ahead scores & celebrate the wins.

I wasn't able to watch any of the game but I will shortly... I was able to follow it on NFL.COM though... I don't know how 'pretty' or 'ugly' it was but the ultimate outcome is:

Can Frank Reich please get fired? Make him the Assistant Head Coach and let him game plan and help with the play calling.

Why? Hasn’t it been pretty well proven at this point that Pederson was in fact the key to the offense’s success in 2017?

Johnson would be wise to call more quick slants when teams are bringing the house.  Too many unnecessary sacks that could be big gains if throwing slants to AJ and Julio

The slant to AJ is almost impossible to stop so I’m not sure why we don’t see it more.

Because we don't watch those teams like we do the Eagles. My coworkers who aren't Eagles fans (I'm in Bills country) keep saying how great the Eagles are because they don't watch the games, only highlights. This team (or coordinators) are not performing like they should and that's what's so maddening about this team. If anyone thinks they are playing great they don't know what they are talking about. The wins are great but they still aren't playing great football. I think they can but they just haven't and that's encouraging.

You're right sorta. We have yet to see a complete game. Miami was close to it. But what kind of games do you think happen in playoffs/SB. Mostly close games. He have been battle tested all season. Never seen Jalen rattled, D made plays when they had too. Yes today we got lucky with some drops. But that's part of the game. People still have KC high on their boards even though they are the worst 2nd half team in football. It's like they have been preaching, it's nice to win games but still have stuff to improve. Other teams can't pull out a win when it matters like we have done pretty much all season.

Also KC D were dominant early on. When was last time our oline was manhandled like that?

Bring in Frank Reich if he gets fired.

I’m not sure Desai deserves to get fired. He did a great job against Miami and KC. He was super aggressive but then he plays soft against crappy teams. I don’t get it,

So...yes you think the Eagles did absolutely nothing good tonight?

I notice you never reply when I trash Hurts bad plays. I boo the bad plays, celebrate the good ones...and enjoy the wins.

I don’t give up. Giving up is switching off and I don’t do that. But yeah I’m well aware I’m very up and down during a game.

I'm not near as positive during a game, which is why I don't like to post in the GDT during the game. I get as negative as anyone in here. I thought the whole offense was trash at halftime. It's always a good idea to take some time to settle down after a game rather than going all in on a rant formed while your emotions were unstable.

We're still 9-1. If I told you we would be 9-1 at the start of the season but we still had things to work on, you would be all in. Our best football is yet to come.

Yeah that’s absolutely fair. I’ll do better and try to not post when I’m in my negative mindset during games.

He’s has no talent around him. He’s a great OC but not a great HC.

You are the one dealing in absolutes.  Typical narcissistic behavior that you are renowned for on the boards.  I never said they did zero good things.  But the reality is, chiefs handed us the win with sloppy offense more than we took away their offense.  MVD drop?  Kelce drop?  Watson drop?

Why don’t you get back to bouncing Hurts nuts off your chin?
