Posted November 16, 20231 yr In the meantime we are called to love and obey our creator and to love one another, which isn't easy to do, but we're supposed to try. Those who look to our savior, Jesus, will eventually be transformed into perfection. I'm looking forward to that day. How about you?

I just need to know if I should bother renewing my bus pass
November 16, 20231 yr What denomination are you? Many denominations do not believe that all people will join God in His kingdom. Some have accepted and earned an eternity in Hell. Do you believe in Hell?
November 16, 20231 yr The lord spoke to me and said he loves everyone but me. He said he tried but I’m unloveable.

Yes, I believe in "Hell" but I don't view it as a place where people are tortured forever. I believe that wicked people are sent to the "Lake of Fire" (LOF) and that it is a VERY unpleasant experience but a necessary one for the purpose of refinement and restoration. Thereafter they too will enter God's kingdom. Jesus saves; he doesn't torture.

What kind of God would even create such a terrible place, just seems odd.

We're told that the LOF is a very unpleasant place. Other than that we don't know much about what occurs there. However, those with discernment understand that it is a last resort to save the most wicked people. Those of us who sincerely look to Jesus will immediately enter into Heaven upon death and we will be transformed into perfection. The wicked will eventually be saved, but only after they have been purified and restored in the LOF.
November 16, 20231 yr Author Obviously, not everyone believes in Jesus/God. That is a part of God's plan for our Earthly education and development. God does not permit everybody to believe in and follow Jesus just yet. Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Romans 11:25 25 Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. John 6:44 44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.
