August 12, 20241 yr God is greater than all we can say, greater than all that we can know; and not merely does he transcend our language and our knowledge, but he is beyond the comprehension of every mind whatsoever, even of angelic minds, and beyond the being of every substance. -Thomas Aquinas The very foundation of atheism is built upon a misunderstanding of what it means to be Christian and to have faith. Your beliefs require just as much faith as mine. And that's why you don't understand the holy Trinity either.

August 13, 20241 yr Everything is God's plan. Every sparrow that falls. US Christians seem to be failing hard at love one another.

Your understanding of atheism from a lens of Christianity as the only way to understand atheism. Typical.

It's the same with most religions "We are right, if you aren't part of the group, you are wrong." My advice re educating you about atheism is to use this thing called Amazon to buy a book or two that has perspectives outside of Christianity.

Think about why you do not believe in Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, or any of the thousands of religions you don’t believe in. Atheists simply believe in one less religion than you do. What part of your religion prevents you from living peacefully with people who are different than you? Are you required to force people to believe in your god?

He is afraid to read anything that doesn’t already fit his narrow mind. Mike has already been told to actually read the book about something from nothing, but he’d rather take the word of some apologist who tells him what to think.

Seems like my perspective on atheism was right on the money

As I said, that requires as much belief as almost any religion. As far as the 2nd part of your post, look at what happened in this thread. Someone posts a Christian message of positivity and what happened? Like moths to a flame, atheists stormed in to relentlessly attack Christianity and it's followers. I happen to disagree with the theology of the OP, have you seen me attack him for it? So who are the ones failing to let others live peacefully??

They simply, just haven’t seen evidence to believe in one. I don’t believe in a god, but I don’t know for sure. Whatever "higher power” is out there, it is evident it is 100% hands off.
