From washing hands before eating to stoning an adulterous woman, there is example after example. This is the question you are desperate for me to answer? Really? I have no idea why the book of folk tales you seem not to understand, or practice, has a God (or his son in human form, or possibly one third of him, the scripture is unclear) disguised as a Jewish fellow, who is sent intentionally to violate his own laws, and has himself killed because of those same laws, so he can be resurrected, so we know that God is love. Can you explain it? I am on record saying the book makes no sense, it was written by MEN to control OTHER MEN, and women are basically property, but makes no sense most of the time, and pictures the most petulant loser of a God, with the worst behavior and morals, who made people, then killed most of them in a flood, because he gave them free will, and it somehow, bit him in the ass, which is weird, since he knew all, and forsees all, and has all power.

You could have stopped at "I have no idea" What would you like me to explain? Nothing written in the bible is to "control" other men. That's a conspiracy theory type of interpretation. What do any of the authors get out of someone following the teachings of the Bible? Money? Power?

No one really knows who wrote any of the books of the Bible, but "all of the above,” for the men who canonized them, and continue to use them to control people.

Control people for what? Donations are voluntary. Christian doctrine requires no political power or subservience to anyone.

It’s having the maturity to know the world doesn’t revolve around your beliefs.

When the spring lambs are in the fields? Oh right, it was better marketing to move his birthday. Not like the truth matters.

Just about everything about the Christmas holiday has been borrowed from Pagan rituals that were around long before Christ. Happy Holidays is a greeting that includes all and doesn’t assume a religion. Why does that bother you

Sorry it's an incredibly popular religion and it hurts your feelings.

Last time I checked there are virtually no pagans around celebrating anything on December 25th. Deal with it.
