I'm a sinner, not a heretic. How about you?

Its pretty obvious convenience will always win out over conviction with you.

Exactly! History is rewritten all the time! Now you're getting it!

There are thousands of original biblical texts that are hundreds of years old.

Compare that to sources of other ancient historical texts.  You'll see that the Bible is much more robust and has been scrutinized far more heavily.

So shouldnt that lead you to acknowledge the Bible's veracity, at the very least on the same level as other ancient historical accounts?

Yet you don't.  You place more validity on stories from other ancient historians like Pliny the elder and younger, Herodotus, Caesar, etc. but say the Bible is "made up"

Wrong

Jesus picked 12 apostles and none of them were trannies, so this shouldn't concern you

Sure, sure, thirteen guys in dresses, and not one of them is Mary after hours.

Wrong

Words don't mean ish, your actions confirm your hypocrisy.

Every sin is a hypocrisy in that sense.  Show me a person without sin.

Classic projection.  What you and your pals do at night is your own business

So just sin all the time, it doesn't matter!

I found this 4th century text from a one-legged goat herder, that described going to a drag show in Gadara, where James the less was performing as Jaime Ravache.

It won't lead to a happy life, that is the point.

God gave us instructions because he loves us and wants us to be happy, not because he wants adherence to an arbitrary set of rules.  Think of Jesus' teachings as a way to lead a fulfilling and happy life.

The reason why you're such a hypocrite, is that you show no intention or desire to stop committing your sins. We all should strive to live a life without sin, but you strive to do the opposite. You have said gays are unnatural and would doom the human species because they can't reproduce yet you're completely oblivious to how this very same logic literally applies to you now. This is why we make fun of you, because not only are you a fake Christian, you're also incredibly stupid and unaware of how easily you have exposed yourself as entirely fraudulent with each post you make.

So if it's convenient for Mike to get his tubes tied, do that instead of what God wants, because it's easier. Got it, Slappy.

Is that why you're so angry and unfulfilled all the time? Because you're wholly incapable of following God's instructions?

You have absolutely no basis for saying this, other than being triggered by me calling out your own hypocrisy of trying to be a "cool Christian" so modern liberals wont make fun of you.

You even teach your kids not to following the churchs teachings.  Only when it's convenient and conforms to modern societal pressures, right?

It wasn't convenient at all, actually. And I didn't just do it for my own personal convenience, anyway.  I actually hate surgery and have a deathly fear of needles

Is a vasectomy natural, Michael? If everyone got a vasectomy, what would happen to the human species?

Mull it over for a few minutes, Sling Blade.

You literally create your own instructions in place of God's.  You literally gave up on following those instructions because MSNBC told you they weren't nice.

Maybe you should think about how capable you are of following them.

Says the guy desperately trying to justify his vasectomy

You think it's easy to get your tube's tied in West Virginia?  His cousin did it.

So that makes vasectomies natural now? Solid logic as always

Your cowardice is irrelevant, it's your hypocrisy we are discussing here. You sinned out of convenience, yours or someone else's.

Which passage is that?

I've never once tried to justify it.  You're just trying to deflect from your own heresy.
