GDT: Philadelphia Eagles @ Seattle Seahawks, 12-18-23, 8:15 PM EST

Featured Replies

Limiting Seattle to 3 is great and all, but we still CAN NOT get off the field on 3rd and long

It's really quite maddening and anxiety inducing

The problem with this team is that there's no identity on either side of the ball

Last year we were an effective running team and our D lead the league in sacks

Outside or our record and 2nd half comebacks there's really nothing that stands out about this team

  • I don't like this team. There have been teams with less talent that I enjoyed watching and was easy to pull for. This is a arrogant team who got lucky to start the season and thought they could Coast

  • For the first time this year I’m excited about the Eagles chances this season. That’s the best I’ve seen the defense play in over a decade. I still believe the offense will come around.

Wow! Just wow. Let’s hope we still see some of those positive halftime adjustments though because for a stretch they were really good. We need them just to close this one out.

Man both these offenses are difficult to watch. I feel like we're all watching the battle for first overall pick. This 💩 is dreaddul.

It's raining. One team doesn't have their starter. The other is sick as hell. What did you expect? 42-36?

Can someone tell me the last time we scored more than 21 in the first half?

I mean with how bad the defenses are I did expect more points to be fair…

They are and that’s fine but you still need to threaten Hurts as a runner. He’s still got that ability and you need to keep a defense honest. Don’t become predictable when you have that in your arsenal.

I believe they want a return on their huge investment and to use him like they did last year wouldn’t be financially sound. An injured Hurts or a shortened career Hurts is bad for business.

Play design is still a big problem. Dline no sacks, yet the back end doesn't seem like it's playing confused. They have to score TDs, as if.

Giants playoffs last year?

Nobody is happy with a 7 point lead given how dominant our defense has been and how much TOP we have had. But look tonight is about the win no matter how we get it. We are going to need more from our offense because their WRs are too good not to get some yards and points.

I hear you, but we have to start putting together more complete games. This approach doesn’t work against really good teams and we’re getting closer to the playoffs each week. Sloppy play/play-calling continues.

No that’s true and fair. But if you don’t use him as a runner you take away a little something from his game. And if you do that you don’t have as effective a passer and then that’s not much of return on your investment.

They got to figure out how to move the ball somehow with a 50% effective Jalen.....its gonna require some bit of creativity...which we dont have.

Seahawks defense is a fire dumpster and we can only muster up 10pts against these clowns with our talent.

Please tell me this is the last late night game?

They tried Siri's offense.  Maybe it's time to try Alexa's.

Oh I agree with you! Defense has come to play tonight and offense needed to give them more. Just one more TD drive and this has a very different feel at halftime. But we know this team hasn’t played a complete game all year so we were never going to see that tonight.

I’m not happy with a 7 point lead against a backup QB, especially because we’ve only been able to score 10 points on offense. It’s obvious that our offensive scheme isn’t working and I don’t see anything changing tonight.

The more I watch, the more I feel resigned that this is just what the offense is going to be for the rest of the year.  Hurts either can't or won't play from the pocket, and he's not explosive enough right now to generate the big plays.

Bet they regret flexing this game lol

14th game of the season. Not going to happen. I've given up hope of that. Just be fricking decently competent..Don't turn the ball over. Run the ball is the most I can expect.

Following the first drive I thought this team had found its way again and then that was that!  Nothing interesting about this team right now. It’s still vanilla and poorly run.  Predictable and boring.

I want to see a lot of Cox and sacks here in the second half

I think we’ve seen glimpses this year that the offense can be explosive. To think it’s going to be as good as last year at this point is probably a stretch but we know it can be much more.

It's not like our QB is at 100 percent.

Offense has outperformed Seattle, leading at half, Hurts making great throws from the pocket, BJ using more motion, more RB runs.

Still more to improve, but some of you aren't seeing ANYTHING good and there have been positives...and Hurts is awfully sick.
