Lack of pass rush…yes, despite 5 sacks, is a bit concerning. Eagles got a few of those when the game was out of reach pretty much. Carter gets double teamed on EVERY play. Someone else needs to step up!

THIS DEFENSE IS A BAD BLITZING TEAM.

I really like Baun a LOT. But every time he blitzes, the opponent gets a first down and Baun gets blocked. Or whoever blitzes, they get blocked. 3rd and 10+….Eagles blitz; opponent gains a first down. Brutal! Again, I’m a big fan of Baun. He’s just not a good blitzer…or this defense is not a good blitzing team in general.

Refs had a bad week….throughout the league…today.

It will be interesting to see what the shotgun vs. under center proportions are and how successful each of those two cohorts were. Toth playing center might be forcing more under center snaps, which could be helping.
