What this means is that we don't have to take out our lead RB during key plays because he can't block. Now Gainwell can sub in more on early or less meaningful downs as opposed to the previous couple of years... where Sanders and Swift had to come off.

Ertz mentality is not an issue.   He is limited physically as just a route runner.   Goedert is fine there.... the next TE needs to bring blocking and or the ability to break a tackle. 

Never said I worried about facing Ertz, just it was nice when we had 2 great TE's until ones' ego went to his head.

Last year only 3 of the top 10 rushers played every game.   The 3rd, 4th and 6th leading rushers played 13 or less games.    RB isn't a position you need to be healthy every game.  Barkley should be fine here.  13 or more games...just be healthy at the end.

Wasn't ego... he doesn't offer anything in a 2 TE set because he can't block.   They could always play nickel against him.   You do that vs Goedert and it's a big advantage for us in the run game.
