He was a pass catcher all this time,so maybe he can learn the needed blocking skills. After the catch he moves like WR The Eagles don't have pick 98 any longer...was 97 then got bumped to 98 before they traded that pick to Pittsburgh to get Pickett.

You have all 3 QBs locked up...for multiple seasons.... you already liked the 3rd string QB, he should be looking to compete for the #2 job. Look at the roster and look past this year. You are going to lose 3 DL in your rotation...Graham, Sweat and Milton. Your OL is thin. You have one RB under contract past this year. Your two starting CBs are old. You need a slot WR. That's not even looking at LB or S. Drafting a QB to compete for #3... not the time for it. We have invested enough in the position. A pick last year, moving back in this years draft. 2 picks next year. We paid Hurts big $$. That's enough of an investment on QB. A couple OL... a couple DL.. TE , RB, WR... we need those. And again...that's not even mentioning LB, S or CB. I'm good without drafting a QB for a couple of years. What's the difference? Like they are bench riders who cares what the position is? They aren't going to play in a game so it really doesn't matter does it?

I was commenting on your reasoning for each pick. And giving you my ideas on that. The QB 4 is a luxury. We have holes on the roster. As you keep naming them. Basically EVERYTHING BUT QB. Why draft one... especially since we just used 3 picks and moved down with a 4th pick on our two backups. That's 4 picks...you want to invest a 5th pick for a #4 QB? How about use that pick and double down on a skill position guy...because we are thin at all of TE, WR and RB. I'd rather draft 3 RBs than a QB. At least it creates competition for a guy who would actually play in the game...not to be the backup to the backup. Maybe the pick ends up being a return specialist? A gunner? Anything thar contributes. Draft 2 LBs. Two TEs... 3 DBs... double down on both lines too...all of that makes more sense than another draft asset used on a 4th QB. Doesn't matter, none of them are going to play so whatever. A round 5 is not a big investment no matter who it is.I posted another mock you would like better, but lets harp on this QB gig.The Pickett trade was awful(and Pickett is awful) and we only have 1 more QB after that.If Jalen gets hurt week 1 and Pickett sucks, none of the other investments really matter. If I had to count on QB3 I at least want the best one,but lets just hand out the jobs with no competition. SF found out what happens when you run out of QB's

I don't see him(Nix) beating out Harrison and a couple others

SF found out what happens when you run out of QB's Google " Eagles 5th round picks " goes back like 25 years to ND Kalu, Celek, Trent Cole a few RBs...Big V , Ike Reese etc. No need for 4th QB there I'd we can get one of those guys or some of the others who contributed.

He was the outlet guy at OSU. He's good on the horizontal screen/bubble screen passes. I could see him working between the 20's then subbing in Parker in the slot near the GL. Happy with this pick-up. As I recall watching OSU he has good hands and is the "clutch" type that can covert 3rd downs

March 21, 20242 yr For what it’s worth apparently Campbell was the player Howie/Joe Douglas wanted in the 2019 draft before Lurie used his owner card saying he wanted JJaw
March 21, 20242 yr Report also stated that we had medical concerns for Metcalf so he wasn’t likely on our board at all and we completely botched our evaluation of scary terry

Team has too many holes to worry about using yet another pick on a #4 QB. You aren't getting the concept of how we just used 4 draft picks between last year, this year and 2 next year on QBs. That's already enough investment and they are all locked under contract.
