He was handpicked by Kelce at C. There is a certain confidence level transmitted to Cam…and his teammates….if the top dog HC states …something like….”no attempt to even replace a legend….but Cam has proven in his many reps I’ve viewed in the Novacare routinely that he’s ready to take over the starting C position….the most coveted OLine in all of sports..with our Philadelphia Eagles.” He makes that statement all questions are over there. 

Obviously I’ve identified this Jackson Powers kid in the draft. Really possible he’s still there for us at 22. If he is indeed the draft strategy then Siri’s dodging of the C question was very wise. He most likely just takes the C position. Just a select few others I see in this draft class have versatility factors. Great candidates…but college T that likely better suited inside. Two very much suggested even C.

We invested in the C position,don't we need a DT???(I mean a top flight game changer). The O functions better than the defense so lets invest in some top defense guys. I have DT,OG,CB first 3. Powers-Jackson has been "identified" for awhile now. He's excellent,but we need a top DT more and there is nothing wrong with Beebe. And if Cam is taking over the C as you said that position is covered and Beebe is a solid OG. With Bark in our backfield any solid OG will be fine. Look at the big picture. If I'm on the clock and 1 of the top 2 DT's is there,that overshadows PJ for me

How in the hell did so many EAGLE scouts and management DECIDE to pick Jalen Reagor over Justin Jefferson? I mean seriously! How DID THAT EVEN HAPPEN?

By the way, if the best player available at 22 is a LT, that’s the guy I would pick. Elevate every position…don’t try to fill holes in the draft as your priority. Besides I love the stud OLine picks! Helps your offense function SO MUCH! So if a stud C is available at 22, pick him. Cam J has shown me ZERO as a Center in the NFL to this point. Just saying.

You'e benching Maliata? How many snaps has Cam played as a starting NFL center for you to make that judgement? Filing in holes with top draft picks is why there is a draft? I had JJ pegged right away.when our pick came I was like OH YES!!!! Then Howie picked Reagor. IDK that I have ever been that livid about a draft pick. Just disgraceful.Then we got to watch the Vikes war room erupt with high 5's before they even picked. That's when Howie decided to spend the off season learning more about draftees. Pretty nice drafts ever since. BTW don't we need a top flight DT? I'm taking Murphy or Newton

Anyway as I stated... why commit now...see what happens and if the best line has Cam at RG and the dude we signed from ATL at C...then go with it. 

Why use another combo like Cam at C and another player or even the dude from ATL at RG...if it works better the other way around?  

Mailata proved to be better than Dillard... 7th rounder beat out a 1st rounder.

Dickerson was a C...yet he is now the best LG in the league... sometimes things actually work differently and even better than your original plan.

Why not see what works best and go with it. 

Especially from a Hurts Stan perspective...where it should be all about putting the best line in front of him.   So what if Cam turns out to be better playing RG or just the combo works better with him there?   Should be about what's best for the team, not what Kelce wanted 2 years ago.

My guess is we've been trying to get Justin Simmons on board but he's asking too much.

Also don't think it's the end of the world if we hold on to Reddick. Would like to get some picks and shed the salary going into his last yr and we'll still have some dead cap after he goes. Holding on to a guy who's  still getting double digit sacks isn't totally a bad thing, although expensive.

So you want to waste the 1 pick for Mailiatas BU? Makes no sense when there ARE holes to fill just sayin. Hurts is our QB(like it or not) We Need the #1 TE before we need Hurts BU

I pass on the QB ... I agree best player...again for me it's not a " grade"  it's simply the guy you think will impact the most wins for your team and who you want I'm the locker room.

However....QB, P, K, LS... those positions I do include unless needed.   

But at 22.. take the best OL,DL, S, LB, WR, CB, TE... whoever is best...   notice not including RB either... I'll save that for day 3 at the earliest THIS YEAR.

IDK I just think Howie will want a stud DT to replace Cox. It's a Howie pick and although they are HUGE shoes to fill,one of the top 2 DT's has the best shot to fill them

Here's a late LB I am looking at-trevin Wallace. He is under the radar but really has better traits than guys who will go ahead of him. He has even moved ahead of my pick Jacobs(Penn state)

I absolutely believe the Eagles will go line on their first pick too... probably OL.
