Rosie was striking out on any other WR options. We weren’t in position to draft a better WR than Treylon Burks. Getting AJ was absolutely huge!!!

Picks 16 , 19 and 194 for ..

Picks 18, 101, 237 ... a 2023 1st and a 2024 2nd.

We moved up from 19 to 18 ... moved up from 194 to 101 ...

We gave up pick 16 in 2022 for ... pick 237 (2022), 1st round 2023 & 2nd round 2024.

You do that trade every year... you would end up with an extra 2nd and 3rd round pick forever ... plus move up from a 6th to a 3rd round and get an extra 7th.

The issue Ham had was some TMZ people brought up the point that we would have ammunition to go move up to get a QB if Hurts didn't pan out... once he gets the agenda in his head, there is no going back. No logic could enter his brain at that point by simply looking at the trade assets and the math.

we swapped 2 first round picks each ..... we got a 2nd, a 3rd and a 7th ... for a 6th. Every year you do that... problem is you won't find a team as desperate as the Saints were back then every year.

Lets hope Dallas doesn't end up finding any team like the Saints in these next two drafts.
