Injuries weren’t Siri’s fault. But look at what happened as soon as Siri semi-got out of the way. Hurts and our O flourished way beyond anything under Siri for years.

Exact right read. Hurts needed to hold the ball for that extra spilt second so Smitty could clear the underneath defender. Then hit the hole in the zone between that underneath defender and the S.

He still needs developing? After 6 years? He needs to play more consistently. You bashed me and Joe because we wanted him developed and pointed out annually what we thought he should improve on. Hurts letting the ball fly is what we want to see while we are busy figuring out the O line issues. If it can be done, Howie will get it done. I am happy Hurts is not turning the ball over. That maturity started last year and continues. What does Hurts need to develop in your opinion?

Regardless of your obsession with the labels... 2 things we need. 1. Better job setting the edge on runs. 2. Pressure on the QB.

That comes from players... not 3-3-5... 3-4-4... 4-3-4... 5-2-4... 4-1-6... or even 867-5309 ( unless Jenny can play)

I totally called Hurts out on that interception. He forced it. Wasn’t needed. I just brought context to the situation is all. That we were completely shell shocked by the turn of events. Pros it shouldn’t affect as much as it did that game. But it really really was a massive factor. Terrible ATL O couldn’t hardly do squat…but romped right down on us after shell shocked Saquan drop.

It was triple Fing coverage that S was already coming across the field before the ball left Hurts hand was a horrible read by Hurts
