Ok…so during each week our coaches and players really study that matchup opponent. Then devise strategies and gameplans accordingly. Every team does this…for decades.

Why everyone but you stresses "one game at a time"

IMO Siri was on the mike/headset to Moore. Moore may have suggested the dagger and Siri said "just call it" (in to Hurts). That is how I see it although there is really no way to know

https://talksport.com/nfl/2888216/why-nfl-coaches-wear-headsets-patrick-mahomes-helmet-super-bowl/ So it depends who Siri was on the headset with and there is no way to know who suggested the play, but Siri has the final say when he said "just call it" The QB cannot communicate(talk) he can only receive instructions, therefore unless it was an audible Hurts could not have called this play. He did put it on a list of plays he liked to run as suggestions and I'm sure they worked through that list(as Siri said). So now can we move on to THIS year?

No it’s called hard work prepping for the game.

Like every SB team does every year since time began?

It was a story that caught high traction during a slow news period of the offseason.

Hurts didn't call this play. He suggested running it on a list he made and the TEAM COACHES(multiple levels of them) went through

Siri had to select the proper time to run this play. Moore could have said "how about the dagger here?" and Siri told him to "just call it"

That is CEO coaching

That’s old coach speak for telling his players to not overlook any opponent.

Everything we know and understand about Siri fits too. He clearly has that Dagger mentality. Big plays is his admitted biggest factor towards victory.

Terribly low unlikely scenario you some how tried to force there

Definitely not lumping Hurts in with normal or average run of the mill when it comes to putting in the work.

Yep…super basic

That’s what I said. Hurts picked The Dagger out for this matchup. Both because our guys execute it well with it being comfortable play for our O….and very specifically seeing something in the specific matchup to believe it will work.

Siri went for the jugular…exactly fitting his MO all the way.

So go ahead and list all the CEO duties Siri performs for the D side of the team? (Other than just setting practice schedule times after discussing things over with Vic)

It's called weekly prep. It's not "old" it happens every week

I don't know because I am not in the locker room, meeting rooms or on the headset. You don't know either. Stop with the BS like you know it all, it gets old. Every team operates differently. Go ahead and list all the things Siri does NOT do

Yeah great call by Siri telling Moore to call it

IDK do you follow every teams "work" every week? How do you find the time?

He had a list of plays he likes to run. The dagger was ONE of them. It's not unheard of for a QB to let his coach know which plays he is comfortable running? Like NO ONE else does this? Only Hurts? 🤣 Just ridiculous

Yep Moore said how about the dagger and Siri told him to call it in. Now can we fast forward to THIS YEAR?????? Why do you always harp on ancient history??? WHO gives a EFF?

You list them, I don't have this kind of time. Just ludicrous BS

Moving on to Denver this week..................... Joe believes it will be low scoring. I believe there will be more scoring opportunities and if we pass more (despite Surtain) I can see a semi blow out at home. We need to make Nix move out of the pocket.I see Nix getting picked off(maybe more than once).

I would personally like to see some production from a pass catching RB's and some kind of contribution from the slot which is being ignored yet again
