https://talksport.com/nfl/2888216/why-nfl-coaches-wear-headsets-patrick-mahomes-helmet-super-bowl/ So it depends who Siri was on the headset with and there is no way to know who suggested the play, but Siri has the final say when he said "just call it" The QB cannot communicate(talk) he can only receive instructions, therefore unless it was an audible Hurts could not have called this play. He did put it on a list of plays he liked to run as suggestions and I'm sure they worked through that list(as Siri said). So now can we move on to THIS year?

Signs would be the only way Hurts could request the play while on the field. Really not that important lol. As a FAN, I LOVED the play and the team earned another SB. That's all that matters - PERIOD!

Did you comprehend all the links and vids I posted?????? If so,my scenario is VERY likely. But you will die on the hill of "I am always right"

Moving on to Denver this week..................... Joe believes it will be low scoring. I believe there will be more scoring opportunities and if we pass more (despite Surtain) I can see a semi blow out at home. We need to make Nix move out of the pocket.I see Nix getting picked off(maybe more than once).

Yep, Nix will be struggling against the Birds' D.

It's called weekly prep. It's not "old" it happens every week

But it’s just a cliche…of don’t take any opponent for granted and overlook any Sunday any team can knock you off. Foolish if you don’t believe there are so many other things going on as well. Bigger picture view season goals. Always trying to add to the repertoire. But when planning and preparing for each season I believe you have three sections to consider. Want to throw as much of the playbook at them as possible. See what fits and works. Maybe kind of grade levels for each play of needed development and readiness. Some that will need the most work maybe get postponed.

Then you have plays you feel are core season plays that must be near perfect as regular bread and butter every week plays.

Then I believe they look at the schedule. Identify what will be needed for the first month on the schedule.

Can be some groupings of areas where you can hold off and target a bit later where you see they’ll be crucial in the second half of the season type stuff.

Where did you hear Moore ask Siri anything? How would you even leap to that conclusion? Occams Razor concludes Siri pulled rank and ran his playcall….he pulled from his QB play call sheet.

In your own video. It starts with Moore saying, "If we score it’s over.” Then Sirianni responds to that. As Jesus said , "Ham has ears but he does not hear.”

I agree with his call 100 percent. Something I like about Siri. It’s all about confidence in your players. At some point it comes down to can you beat the other guy and get that one yard. Niners are real tough in this area.

In the flow of that game....no way a run call was the play there.

Are you saying the headset communication between the QB or the Green Dot defender is only one way … from the sideline to the onfield player, but not from the onfield player to the sideline? That is news to me.

Of course he sees are stud P each game also. Guy is killing it. Every position matters….no matter how unsexy.

Not just our punter

Parker explained that there are two types of "teach tape” he shows his players. One is about scheme, sometimes how they play against a particular route. The other is about technique, whether it’s footwork or leverage or finishing at the football.

Who is Parker?

Thinking about our whole coverage situation …that’s what you’re missing in this discussion. Whole Secondary situation. Last year with Slay? Totally different. Q was still the elite stud….but this seasons squad needs to protect the weak link opposite outside. That’s entire D team need situation.

No, you are only thinking about the Boundary CBs. Slay = Boundary CB. Q = Boundary CB. Ringo = Boundary CB. You ignore the other 9 players on the Defense.

For example, in a 2-Deep Zone, what are the responsibilities of the Boundary CBs?

It’s the most famous notable play of that SB. This all is straight out there…without blind guessing.

The most famous play of the Superbowl was the DeJean pick 6.

Wrong. The most famous and notable play of the Super Bowl was Cooper DeJean disguising his coverage to pull the wool over Mahomes’ eyes and then waltz into the End Zone in his INT return.

Just starting to feel semi-self after horrible pain Thur. Sept. 25 from gall stone/sludge blocking my bile duct and then E. Coli from my own waste. Pure Hell! The ER nurse told me the Dr. shot me up with double the dose of painkiller he normally gives. I had Endoscopy 9/27 and Laparoscopic gall bladder extraction on Sun. 9/28. My gallbladder was mutilated as the doc told me, it kept coming apart. He had to make 4 incisions. My stomach is like a golf course as the incisions are strategically placed, spaced, laced and paste. My anesthesiologist was a huge Eagles fan. There was only 1 OR running on Sun just for urgent procedures. He turned the game on and parked me right in front of the TV. I fist bumped him and said, "You da man doc!" lying in my bed prepped and waiting for my turn in the OR. He smiled from ear to ear lol. I kept him informed by yelling, "Eagles' TD doc!" across the room and he would yell back. I got to see the game to about mid 3rd quarter. I wasn't sure if I would make it, but I had OUTSTANDING doctors and nurses from Penn State health. I'm forever grateful for them.

Thank you for asking!

The Eagles are only the fourth team since sacks became an official stat in 1982 to get to 4-0 with five or fewer sacks in their first four games

Yeah, teams used to hire people like me that could read lips. Now when you see plays called from the sidelines they hide their lips by holding up the playsheet LOL

That is my understanding "Who wears headsets in the NFL?

Headsets in the NFL are restricted only to coaches so they can communicate with one player from both offense and defense on the field. However, player's speaker inside the helmet have only one way communication. The headset of coaches have a built-in microphone which allows them to talk directly to one offensive and defensive player on the field who. Since the NFL does not allow players to communicate back to their coaches, their helmets are not fitted with a headset. Rather, players are allowed to have a helmet equipped with a speaker but not a microphone. Usually, on the offense, it is the quarterback while on the defense, it is the middle or inside linebacker (via NFL.com)."

Communication from the coaches to the box and other coaches is 2 way. I believe there is a 20 person limit for each team(unless that changed). So Siri can talk 2 way to Fangio or his OC. So it's important to have 1 play caller so things don't get screwed up. Then I believe with 15 seconds left, the communications to the green dots are cut off. The QB then has the option(if allowed) to call an audible at the LOS, but that won't be coming from the sideline or overhead boxes, that is squarely on the QB. It's fairly amazing how smoothly this works really. Just the communications aspect is pretty amazing

This is what led me to believe on Hams example that Siri and Moore were talking. Moore could have said "how about the dagger here?"(to Siri) and Siri told Moore to "just call it"(in to Hurts). That led me to believe Moore was the play caller. Lots of talking goes on throughout the game we can't hear
