you do know that howie decides who the coordinators are, right?

Problem is what O mind wants to be under Siri? One guy I can think of would be Frank Reich. Either Siri needs to step way up this season? Or step back into a CEO only role

Not this year…but yes…I’m the one guy here with you on that fact

every single year since doug left. every one of them.

For the most part he has been much better at that. Not as good this season as 2024, but much better than early years.

See this year you’re absolutely wrong. Siri got the power…after winning the SB….so of course he promoted his right hand man.

yeah, who the hell would want to be the OC with the talent on this roster.

now you're making sense. 🙂

Exactly….had to trick Moore into taking the job. Then he ran for the worst job he could find to get away at first chance. SB champions returning 10-11 starters…yet we have Patullo as our OC only.

Just place hope in that Siri and Patullo have grown and developed much more

you obviously don't recognize sarcasm.

either way, howie made the decision and it certainly wasn't because he couldn't find better.

it was more of one of howie's "i'm smarter than everyone else in the room" moves.

But, you know, football, of course, when we get close to the season … man. I know Howie wanted a vet, and he reached out to my agent at the start of the season. He was like, ‘Hey, I know back when, way back when what we said [we think you should retire]… [now it’s] more like, hey, let’s get it. We need him. We want you to come out.’

I don’t believe Rosie was on board at all really this time. Nothing he could do…what..are you going to fire the HC just won a SB?

I give you credit for at least being this knowledgeable an Eagles fan. I’ve been trying to explain this to the other fools here for a long time.

Hurts’ 108.9 passer rating is highest in Eagles history through seven games.

The Vikings went into the game Sunday with the No. 2 pass defense in the NFL

Given that fact, what are the areas of his game that you want Hurts to develop to a higher level?

When he is out of the pocket....I want him to throw the ball away instead of taking sacks.

they already are considered that by many, ya little diva.

anyway, so, let me try to follow your logic here. you're upset that the eagles didn't utilize hurts to your desires during the regular season, while the rb had one of the greatest seasons in the history of the league. ever?

even after your crush jalen had 7 turnovers in the first four games? of course that's nick's fault, right? even the fumbles, right?

why do you care more about an individual on the team over the team itself and their ultimate success?

This is the $64 question we haven't been able to figure out for years now?

Could have be m known as the greatest O of all time…team of all time. But Siri needed to fear risking throwing to AJ and Smitty.

Do you feel Hurts was unleashed on Sunday vs Minnesota?

What a testament to our whole organization

GM and head coach are key parts of an organization.

jalen doesn't even care, but ham does, so .....

ham reminds me of aj.

Hurts has a 108.3 passer rating – highest in Eagles history by a QB over any 24-game span.

Depends on the agenda. The talk locally has been Patullo was the guy Hurts wanted.

Correct... but yet you complain that he isn't being used correctly. The QB is the most dependent position in sports ( Ron Jaworski said this decades ago) Hurts ratings reflects the play calling, the OL and the receivers as well.

The combo ....has been what has worked best for Hurts.

Even this past week... only 23 passes. That's been the magic formula. Go look at the past 24 games and see the ratings of each game and the corresponding number of pass attempts!

i thought you said nick stunted his development?

The last 3 games not so much. The end of the half yesterday, flip the ball underhand to take the incomplete and stop the clock. Then we have a shot at getting 3 points.
