Sunday Morning Eagles-Vikings Game Score Predictions Update

Six Days from Hell ... the question before us now is whether the 6 Days from Hell will become 16 Days from Hell. I wish I knew the answer.

Week Seven has the 28th meeting between the Eagles and Vikings. The current Regular Season series stands at Eagles with 12 wins, the Vikings with 15 wins. They haved met four times in the Playoffs with the Eagles winning all four. So the overall record is Eagles 16 wins and the Vikings 15 wins.

As we do each week, we are gathering Game Score predictions. As always, please tag your prediction post with @mattwill that way I will be sure to see/record it.  Score predictions can also have an optional "Bonus Pick" tiebreaker prediction.  I will be taking predictions right up until Kickoff. If someone posts a prediction without a tag, please reply to it including the @mattwill tag.

I’m saying clearly not enough work got ironed out in TC. Didn’t play in the PS. Then chose to not develop the passing game first couple of games. It’s a work in progress….with the disadvantage of the D presnap fully reading it’s a pass.

Now let’s look at the whole play instead of cherry picking how eventually AJ in hindsight became a good option. What’s bad about throwing to Dotson in Off coverage single covered. Should be a good play. But actually watch Dotson route running. It’s garbage. He didn’t cut sharp and out. He rounded off instead right into the defender. FL you played TE….tell me your coach wouldn’t have chewed your butt if your Out route looked even close to Dotson sloppy route running there.

Show me anyone playbook that draws an Out route anything like Dotson ran.

Is there ever a consideration from you that anybody else on the team needs to also do their job? Dotson messed up…if you had ever played football…or paid any attention…this is very obviously sloppy route right into the defender. Educate yourself and look up how an Out route should look. Dotsons version there wouldn’t have been acceptable in junior high football. Crisp cut…uhmm yep you guessed it..Out.

What’s the problem throwing to Dotson in single coverage on an Out against Off coverage? That should be there all day as a quality read. Give me Acho phone number….teach him some football. I don’t have a problem with throwing to AJ either. But Dotson should be a great easy read. Out route on that Off coverage is a very well known go to read. HOF coaches have taught that for decades.

Let it go...Hurts missed the easy read, had his worst two games....let it go. He doesn't have to be perfect all season. Good film for him to learn from

Dotson ran a garbage route….do you ever actually watch football?

How are you trying to say AJ is more open than Dotson? Since when did you start doing that kind of math where a five yard separation is less than a one yard separation? Hello McFly…sad that you are looking up to Acho to break down O film for you.

Notice how in every known football source(except Acho) Out route is a crisp sharp cut straight outside. Not Dotson’s sloppy half moon arc bringing the DB into position.

Dotson starts his cut at the eleven yard line. So an Out would be him cutting straight towards the sideline at the eleven. Dotson is at the seven when the DB picks the ball.

If needed I can try to communicate with crayons if that is a much more familiar medium for you.

The main b1tch1ng point should be surrounding the D. So flat out embarrassing they got steamrolled by that lowly injured Gmen lowly O. Thought you champion Davis as the needed ingredient to stop the run. What I witnessed was Scattabo-mania. Ran all over us. Their top two WR out…we still couldn’t cover anybody.
