It was frustrating because to me it seemed like it was there for us, QB really struggled to take it though. Plus the slips, the unnecessary hold, trip by Parsons, missed assignment by Fred Johnson, all that killed the run game. you take those dumb mistakes away and Hurts with just these 2 reads, and you have a totally different narrative. The offense really could have dominated!!!

My Matt prediction was 33-17. Not even close

Well I was getting a little miffed at him also, but this really opened my eyes. Brutal execution(or lack of)

It's easy to blame him, he is new and we can't ever blame our great players LOL

But really execution has been a problem, I think the blocking is the biggest issue ( next to Gibbs 3 passes) but maybe Hurts has had more of these type of plays than we know and why AJ could be this frustrated. You can always change a play call, but if everything is there and your QB still doesn't throw you the ball??? How do you fix that?

I have no explanation. It's like Hurts is intentionally avoiding him. Even if his number is NOT called, Hurts needs to know where guys are on the play. You have 2 top WR's and you can't throw them the ball. Very strange

Detroit on grass vs a good opponent, how do they do? Green Bay, KC.... not so great. I still view dome teams playing outside as an issue. Game is faster and cleaner on turf and inside, naturally better for offense.

Of course we have the luxury of overhead views, but still you gotta know where your weapons are

IDK how you miss a guy wide open with no one around for 7 yards

Should be our toughest game all year and I'm sure we'll meet again in the playoffs. Hurts gotta let the ball go

Very good video with Jason Avant breaking down a video of a failed play. AJ was open, bad read by his QB. Not just the vision, but seems a pattern where Hurts doesn't recognize the defense regardless of easy tells!

The scramble run was the safe play, but yet again AJ WIDE OPEN

I have been saying for years, Jalen Hurts is a good QB when everything goes 100% to plan. He sees the field as if its practice. He is unable to read that the defense may not do what he sees on the practice field. He generally makes a decision pre snap, and when that decision is wrong, he does not know how to adjust and move on to his other reads.

This is a fact established by a Tampa Bay coach on the sidelines during Hurts first playoff game. "He can't read". This is why the Eagles have designed an offense to limit complications for Jalen, as the offensive staff knows his limitations. So many of the plays his supporters point to as him being a top QB, the throw he made probably wasn't the right read, and not the best throw into tight or even double coverage. He gets bailed out by AJ and Devonta being amazing at the catch point.

I said long ago Hurts is a RB who can throw. I believe he could not handle Moore's offense. Siri let it go until 1/2 time of the Browns game last year. He then went to the KISS offense making Hurts a game manager and that did the trick, the panic and picks stopped, but we're just "haters". Why we still see the "vanilla" offense

A lot of people feel this way. There are times, as with every player, where they make the adjustments. But I agree with Hurts, they try to keep his reads simple and presnap for the most part. And I also think they do an excellent job and keeping him in things his is comfortable with.

At this point I am still in the tank for Colton Hood- CB(Tennessee). Him and Q would be awesome. Romello Height edge-Texas Tech in round 2. Austin Sierveld-OT OSU as one of the round 3's, I also like jake Slaughter the C for FL(to play RG in time)
