So then why have you been endlessly harping on it with Hurts?

I quit "harping" last year when he became a complete QB. Show me where I had a major complaint anytime since then

Been quite a few guys play in front of Hurts all these years. Yet he’s got it done with all the so many variations.

Sure because he had the O line. How many other teams run the tush push?

Absolutely!!! Exactly what I’ve been picking up on and you e been completely whiffing missing.

What part of being a QB has Hurts "redefined"? and what was the definition prior to that?

If you are telling me he redefined it with the tush push I will once again credit the O LINE because without that it doesn't get done and which lame HC came up with that play for Hurts?

BTW we do less tush pushes now because the O line isn't as good as last years

Can’t see trading Hurts right now. He’s redefining what leadership and QB job in the NFL is.

See no reason to trade him after we finally got the ROI. Ride him until he starts to lose steam unless a ridiculous offer came in

I like Twisted tea myself too. I like Corona but since Rolling Rock is like a rare animal sighting here in NC I have been drinking Modelo(gold). I brought some Land Shark bottles from FL lol

Anyone ever try a Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout?

All depends on this class. I admit haven’t weeded through it all yet. But really would consider the big guy I posted the article about in the first. The prevailing thinking is this is a good healthy draft class this year…as opposed to last draft.

I don't see a TE next year worthy of more than a late 2nd (if that).

I watched this chap start out as a day 3 pick. By draft day, he rose to top 10 (broke my heart).

"The battle for Offensive Rookie of the Year really comes down between Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka and Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren, and both answers are acceptable in this race.

"For me, the vote goes to Warren due to his importance to the entire offense. As a receiver, Warren has been stellar, hauling in 37 receptions for 492 yards and three touchdowns. As long as he stays healthy, Warren should eclipse 1,000 yards on the season.

He is also a key part of their run game as a blocker and occasionally performs some wildcat and creative work in the backfield. Warren is just such a vital weapon for this offense.” - Ryan Roberts, A to Z Sports NFL Draft and Notre Dame analyst

I like Egbuka and depending how things go after losing Skattebo, Jaxson Dart. I agree. I'm thinking a TE in round 3 actually(same as last year). Guys with the chops, but who need a year of refinement. Why I like Wright, he has all the tools and he would do well sitting behind Goedert. His teammate Hasz gets the accolades, but Wright does the dirty work. Royer very late 3 maybe round 4 f we take one at all

I have a soft spot for tight ends - ever since #44 Pete Retzlaff. I hope we retain Goedert - in my opinion he is in a class with Ertz, Keith Jackson and Charli Young.

I would just as soon sign Ertz if he became available as any other free agent.

As far as draft picks, there aren't any outstanding prospects on the immediate horizon. that I can see...certainly no Gonzalez, Mackey, Ditka, Kelse, Witten or Gonk.

If you recall, Shannon Sharpe, like his Pro Bowl brother, started out as a WR. He was a JAG until converted to TE. There is a WR that might be a similar candidate at the University of South Carolina named Nyck Harbor. He would be a project for sure, but wasn't Antonio Gates also? Still another candidate resides on IR - Johnny Wilson.

Jaire not even suiting up..answers that

Well that really sucks!

The guy we shouldn’t have let go was Isaiah Rodgers. We already had found the guy that proved a quality fit in Fangio D. Picked up Adoore. Traded for Bennett. Traded for Carter. Traded for Jaire. Still very likely an issue.

Again... probably not worth the money

Who said Hurts wasn't a starting QB?? When did I say this? When we had Wentz and Hurts was doing 3 plays a game?? When Wentz left Hurts was automatically the starter?? How could anyone claim he wasn't a starter?? Did Hurts have issues when he started?? Or did he just magically come out perfected?? You MISTAKE CRITICISM for HATE and it's a very STUPID flaw in your thought process besides making up things people never said because of your Hurts agenda

Dude...why still engage?

Gotta go hard at the O this next draft. RT, WR and TE, RB

Gotta go RB in the Draft??? With Barkley, Tank and Shipley? We giving up on Shipley already? I thought he was to be " unleashed"?????

I think we all need to relax with this idea of Ertz coming back. He doesn't block, not a fit with our current QB. Ertz is a volume catcher... we have the WRs that make the catches...Goedert brings blocking and the ability to run after catch...and line up everywhere. Ertz is basically a slot WR.

I prefer we remember him how he was no need to bring him in and be disappointed

Goedert sat behind Ertz until he was ready. I wasn't happy how we handled that mid season, dead of night trade. Ertz was popular here, but that baton will need passed soon and I don't believe that is Calc and we need to locate that guy soon. Always loved watching Gates and LT(great RB) play together. I got to eat dinner with LT and Paris Hilton at the 2006 pro bowl in Hawaii. Funny memories. It was a "high dollar" trip right? Best of everything trip. So we were supposed to have those high dollar private double decker coaches to pull us right up to the gate at Aloha Stadium. But the night before, their entire staff(bus) went on strike, so we ended up rattling and rolling our way there in old yellow school buses, no AC, driven by hotel staff and we had to walk quite a ways. For our loss, the group was treated to free dinner at Benihana and they provided/arranged for game celebs to sit with us and my table was LT and Paris. I was telling lame jokes and making them both laugh. LT said it was refreshing to NOT talk about football all the time. The fiancee (aka future EX wife) was not at all thrilled with Paris sitting next to me LOL(I was quite happy with that arrangement 😁) It was a thrill for me as a HS TE to sit across from a guy I loved to watch play. Gates was one of the best at the time, LT was LT and Paris was too cute. Sometimes the best memories are when things get screwed up, but it sure worked out well. LT did sign the tie I wore. The ex threw that out(bish). Those Pro Bowl unis were hideous(and I told LT so and he laughed and agreed) One set blue one set red. I think they had stars all over them, just atrocious. We did get to meet Peyton Manning at the game too. 19 years ago, seems like yesterday :(

I'm down in fantasy by 115 points. Every guy he had was just spot on today. Taylor was ridiculous for the Colts I have both RB's and Smitty, in a less than fantastic setting tomorrow, I think(know) I'm all done LOL. so I will just enjoy the game. Fly Eagles Fly a win tomorrow and vs the Lions and we make our statement. Let's GOOOOOO

@mattwill Eagles 34, Packers 23. Jihaad Campbell INT

"Lead by example is the first thing,” franchise quarterback Jalen Hurts said. "Obviously, you show them that your presence is there and you show them how you work. I think that’s the most important thing for a locker room in general, is to live it.

"A lot of things can be said, but what you do speaks so loud, I can’t hear what you say. I think as a team, just going out there and living it and displaying the type of culture that you want others to see and want to be reciprocated.”

This week at practice, there were 11 Eagles on the practice field (not including the practice squad) who were not with the team at the start of training camp:

LS Cal Adomitis
CB Jaire Alexander
CB Jakorian Bennett #
RB Tank Bigsby
CB Michael Carter II
WR Xavier Gipson
DE Brandon Graham
QB Sam Howell
OT Fred Johnson

OL Willie Lampkin #
OLB Jaelan Phillips

Not good enough value for winning a championship for you. To me…at this point anyway…seeming like it could mean the difference. Cheap for a Lombardi. Not overthinking nickel and diming ourselves out of repeating as champs.
