Houston takes down Buffalo. Although Houston looked like a bowl of Maraschino cherries 🤣

I have to add to this. *** Weakness-lack of field vision(reads) and too much hesitation at times which fits ESP's read *** strength-600 pound leg presses-excellent for Tush pushes. Finally stopped trying to win games alone(aka making bonehead plays and tossing picks) *** your own opinions- Smart? Idk, couldn't grasp the Moore more complex offense. The O line didn't like it much either so that could be a bad read by me vs Hurts. Dialed it back, the fix worked, and now he is comfortable and the O line was/is also, which is what teams want from their QB and line. But I am just a hater so.................

I'm mostly worried about Pickens more than Lamb, he's playing great ball. CB2 will have to be on their game. I want Dak running for his life or planted in the backfield. I think Bark has a nice game at ATT. I want the Dullaz fans to wave that familiar "well maybe next year" banner. I want them shut up for another year

I just am more involved. Last season we had Moore coming in trying to create..at least figure out ways to add on to Siri O. Had himself and Coach Doug actually coaching on how things need to be done. Not just by the QB…by the entire O working together as one. Just obvious why I always explained before last season even began all my hopes of optimism were placed woth how far Moore could get us in that one season. In that light, early bumps and lumps due to a learning curve were very acceptable.

Last year you had arguably the best OL of all time.... this year you have a mediocre OL compared to all the other 2025 teams.

1st all time ever....vs 16th in 2025... that's the conversation.

That's the SIMPLE...reality

Go with your gut instinct...Moore isn't special, he just had the best tools.

So really so much more importance just on getting the Ws this season.

Like how stopping Gibbs from having a lot of receiving yards was so important?

Next season, Tyler Steen, Sydney Brown, Kelee Ringo, Tanner McKee, and others will all be playing on expiring deals

So we are no longer trading McKee?

Then you are missing all I’m saying. Just stuck on fantasy type thinking instead of actually comprehending my actual words instead.

Your words are difficult to comprehend...as you have stated multiple times... that you do not express yourself well. Your own words

Image Davis gets a new deal from us been playing lights out could argue he has been our best DT so far this season looks like a completely different guy compared to his first 3 years

A new deal likely saves in the cap hit pretty significantly next year

I want to win these next 2 games, to have the tiebreakers on every team possible ....going into the last 5 games... with a little extra rest... Chargers, Buffalo, Raiders ....3 AFC teams... and Washington twice.

If we can do that and get a Chargers win with that extra rest... 11-2... the Rams and Seattle have to keep up. That's tough IMO.

We could end up with a situation that the Buffalo game in potential brutal weather... means nothing.

But as Ham preaches.. one at a time

So you totally favoring paying Davis very handsomely…Ojomo shouldn’t cost near the same to retain.

Not favoring anything I don’t make the contracts or sign the players I just state my opinion on what I think happens. I think we keep Davis and could easily see Ojomo being in the Milton ball park just the odd man out that we don’t pay

Ham may get mad but, I would LOVE to see McKee play with the 1's, He did damn good the the 2's last year

Houston really got to Allen. 8 sacks I believe. They still made a game out of it, but that is the key for me. Allen is very competitive and he never quits. Bills were driving for the game when Allen got picked. We're going to have to play our best ball vs them IMO

I got roasted over in the Blog two weeks ago when I suggested that McKee start the Cowboys game and then the Raiders game three weeks later. That wasn’t because of anything Hurts was doing wrong, but rather as a tactical step to maximize McKee’s value for the team and as part of Howie’s arsenal of assets. Right now the knock on McKee is that he is all potential and no proof, because he has never started any meaningful NFL games. The Cowboys were playing very badly at that point, worse than they are now. So those two games looked like good ones to take the risk on. With the way the Cowboys are playing now, I think the risk of a loss is significant enough that starting Hurts is the right move. The Rams are hot on our tail for the #1 seed, and we don’t want to lose that.

JMO, letting BU's play in garbage time with the 2's is ok I guess, but my thoughts are letting a BU start(QB or any other position) puts more pressure on them. You really get to see how they perform when the game is all on them. It's kind of like being the understudy in a play that runs all week, but the lead gets hurt in day 5. The show must go on. it's the only way to really know. Maybe you lose that game, but you know if you have something or you don't. Be nice to see some fresh blood once in awhile and let the BU(QB) get used to the 1's in a real game. If Hurts went out, it's not as much of a shock if McKee had to come in because you know he is ready. Last years games were last years that he played in(with the 2's) this year he needs some exposure too. Although I would dislike taking an L, I really don't see McKee losing the game due to lack of talent. Every game he plays showcases his trade value, or dare I say if Hurts wants too much next contract what do you do? (this is not Hurts hate it's the reality of running a business). Maybe we pay McKee more to stick around? I just see it as a win/win for continuing the QB factory and it would be great for the fans as well. Raiders game would be a great game to do this. It would also be good for Patullo as now he would need to make play calls for a different QB style(aka learning curve). Sue me 🤣

Try throwing the ball, then it's not a concept, but reality. But I'd like to see something other than hitch routes

Cowboys scoring almost ten more points at home than on the road this season.

No doubts we’ve been drafting much better.

Some have pointed to Brown’s lack of separation. Brown is 78th out of 79 qualified receivers in the NFL in average separation per target (1.8 yards), per NFL NextGen Stats. That looks bad. But no one questioned Brown’s talent last season when he ranked 83rd out of 84 receivers in the same category.

So those that are on the side of trying to avoid risks so severely….do you risk throwing to AJ?

Not how I’m looking at things this season. Just chasing those Ws.

Last season it did turn out that having home field throughout the playoffs was huge! One opponent we sent packing believes that was the only reason we advanced past them.

Detroit would beg to differ with you. Tampa Bay would as well.

Fair enough.

It would be a calculated risk. Well worth taking against the Raiders IMO.
