Yes. Stud Oline? Believe you are reflected the past few seasons on this year’s Lions squad. I’ve been of the belief the Lions Oline has new the best league wide…or within debatable argument of being so(obviously Stout guys play big time ball). But they aren’t at that level this season. Still of quality. But tried to include volunteering how the Lions O works and keeps opponents D off balance. They run the ball effectively, they have multiplicity in their passing threats….and they have that great consistent matchup average every week…Gibbs in the short lasting game.

So again, I don't really see a direct answer just a lot of talking in circles. Why do you feel 3 or 4 passes to Gibbs will be the most important thing in the game? For a team that runs the ball so well and has good WRs and passing game. They score a lot of points, why are 3 passes to Gibbs so important?

It’s these three differences that create conflict and hesitation by defenders. We always thrive if we make our opponents one dimensional and T off on teams forced to drop back and pass. This would tend the opposite and counter to being in that position. Hard to hang up strictly against selling out they run the ball. Hard to pass blitz either…it’s real sketchy. Nothing blitz beating better than a quick dump off setup already to Gibbs.

That’s just looking at the bigger picture our D against their O problems. Just could also point to the very simple obvious matchup advantage of fastest guy Gibbs versus any LB in coverage..which needs to combine with tackling.

Beyond all this next level thinking after he beats our LB then how well does Blankenship deal with Gibbs? I really love rooting for Blankenship as our Secondary leader. But athleticism wise? Blankenship way outclassed dealing with Gibbs.

You could possibly think of it comparably to how the Lions D will need to deal with Hurts legs. Those four runs are a huge deal. How many snaps have our opponents dedicated an entire player as a spy because of this O feature?

So let's be clear here. There are 3 passes to Gibbs. say he gets 10 yards each catch. You think those 30 yards are the most important thing in the game?

You just don’t appreciate my thoughtful actual answer to the question. Shortest version be closest: creates conflict with the defenders on all plays potentially.
