Why did the league change the OT rules then?

Because before it was UNFAIR because the other team DID NOT get the BALL at ALL. You are moving the goal posts again

Look up the percentages of how often the team winning the coin toss won in OT.

What does OT have to do with regular game time????

Obviously you missed how I clearly indicated no weather related…already predicting you to try to deflect elsewhere…answered this before you even tried it. Just trying reading and comprehending first.

I don't give a crap about coin toss percentages. The game is won by the players on the field. if it was the coin toss, just toss the coin and go home. Ridiculous

I brought up two so overwhelmingly lopsided examples to teach you this. Look it up…then you’ll realize how ridiculous arguing against it is.

It's football, you play on the fie;d as does the other team in CRAP or GOOD conditions. it's the SAMEW FIELD for both

Why is that? Couldn’t be because they scored, could it?

So look up the % of games won because teams deferred. I don't care about how many coin tosses were won

So having the ball first was an advantage by a huge margin

This makes no sense whatsoever. OT has NOTHING to do with regulation time. Now tell me WHAT the advantage is to deferring, I'll wait

Doesn’t mean that…

Why in OT do they want the ball FIRST?????

It had everything to do with proving winning the coin flip proved to be a huge advantage.

It exactly proved that having the ball first proved to be a huge advantage

You get the ball in the second half

Why do I even need to explain it? Just look at the percentages of what every coach on every level chooses. That’s all the football guys telling you…not you listening to believe me.
