You didn’t pay attention to Rodgers fit here with Fangio. You haven’t paid attention to the laundry list of garbage we’ve trotted out at that position this year. Traded for a guy decided to retire instead…that was the upgraded replacement.

We all saw him as a decent backup... not $15 mil.

And yet 21 points right off the bat??? Does that sound right?

Stoutland was great for a 1/2,then they went to Hams "don't score" offense

Bears 27, Eagles 17 .Once again the offense sputters and the D gets gassed. Bears kill us through the air Kmet gets a TD @mattwill

On the D side of things

Lol... you exaggerate everything...Q and DeJean made big time mistakes Sunday. Baun too. Rodgers would be a $15 mil weakest link....beat like a drum vs the Eagles.

You are eternally the grass is greener over there type of guy. You get a narrative and don't pay attention how things keep unfolding

I just have a fairly decent understanding of a good amount of decent football players. Tried being an optimist with Ringo, young and fast…always considered him needing development as a draft prospect.

Seeing his cap hit at 3.6 mil…huge gap between what you stated

Im not paying $15 mil for mediocre at best player. No thanks

Where did you get this massively inflated number at?

More like five mil a year for two years

I saw him as the guy in the pipeline enabling us to move on from the Twilight of Slay’s career.

Now that you know the actual price he earned as a FA do you have a differing opinion? I doubt he would have demanded as much to stay here. He really appreciated us giving him the opportunity…in his own words. Likely just something close…considered competitive.

DeJean outside isn't going to work. At least not on this contract. So I guess he will miss out of that fabled "big money" LOL

Not totally judging and forming conclusions on this. Like I’ve thoroughly shared it was always my opinion outside CB was/is his least pro ready position in the Secondary. Exactly the question I was harping on with everybody(lead poster give credit to TD)…could DeJean play outside? Really believe S is a better position for him than Outside.

Mukuba going down brings up the situation of considering playing DeJean at S. Kind of tricky…you all know I’m not a fan of trying to do too much with young players. S is the position I was seeing DeJean earning is top money extension playing as well.

You have zero clue on how a roster is constructed and how contracts work. You can't overpay a band aid each year. Rodgers wasn't the solution at CB they wanted, they weren't going to pay him. And no idea if he would have improved over his ok performance last year.

I saw him as a depth piece that we got for a steal.

Nope... I don't like paying the mediocre level players. Get the studs paid and then get the young cheap guys in. Was our CB 2 the problem Sunday vs Dallas? You think Rodgers locks down either of those two guys to where it changes anything?

I don't.

Are you actually questioning what Dickerson stated out of frustration and Siri straight confirmed? Always

Fangio already said that before YOU when you were telling everyone before that we should move DeJean out so he could get the big money. So no "BIG MONEY" for DeJean. You are wrong once again 🤣

So how do you explain a 21 point lead in the first 30,then nothing in the 2nd 30? Did Dickerson and the O line only play one 1/2 then quit? Did we change out our entire O line at the 1/2?

Eagles' offense is not on the same page, and the proof is finally there

So, Dickerson basically said the coaching staff did not prepare them well enough for the different fronts the Cowboys could run. That is already off to a bad start from Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo, head coach Nick Sirianni, and the coaching staff.

Don't worry Eagles fans, it gets way worse.

The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane added that when he asked Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and Sirianni the same question, their answers did not match Dickerson's.

"I think that's just how they're built now, given the three interior defenders they have," Hurts said. "They want to keep their best guys on the field, and it's very effective, and it was something that we didn't handle as good as we like to. So good opportunity to build if that's something that teams show us."
