Why I’m all for shaking things up if we can’t get crap going vs the chargers and yes that includes Hurts.

If Patullo/Siri are the massive issues then turning to the backup QB will only highlight that more.

Same with tank he has found success in limited touches when Saquon can’t seem to get anything going.

Goal is to win games not cater to the high paid guys and if they are not getting it done time to make some Changes

Good luck, the QB ain't going anywhere. Lurie can't have that.

"I honestly don’t know how much of the Eagles’ issues lie at the feet of Patullo and how much of it is him being overmatched. In ‘23, Brian Johnson appeared to have the same issues Patullo is having, and it’s fair to wonder if Patullo is being handcuffed by what his boss and quarterback want to do in a similar way to Johnson. It’s also fair to note that Kellen Moore was an experienced playcaller and was able to navigate Sirianni and Hurts better than Patullo has.”

Just an interesting take on Patullo and why not sure a young play caller will ever work here for us

Here is another take.. a healthy Mailata, Dickerson, Cam, Becton and Lane....can make the old lady at the library look like a great play caller. Just saying, I really think that people underestimate how elite and dominant our 2024 OL was...which included the 2 depth guys Steen and Fred. The health and ability to rest the starters and replace them last year is an underrated aspect. Not only do you take a step back losing Becton ..but also a step back from day 1 forcing Dickerson to play and not heal up. Same with Cam.

He has never been out of the O not in the entire time he has been HC why are you delusional on this front….

Even with Stiechen and Moore majority of our concepts were the exact same as when Siri was calling plays and Johnson and now Patullo

Won't change until different QB ... idk why this gets missed.

Now there are reports out there that Hurts doesn’t want to do designed runs(his biggest asset his legs), reports were swirling prior to Moore that Hurts wasn’t a fan of pre-snap motion either.

Now we have this inexperience OC who has to deal with **** Siri wants and the QB wants all while the fans want to scapegoat him instead of looking at the real issues the HC/QB

OMG... someone finally gets it!!!!

I DK think it’s time to have old John Ruynan come in an tell out guys it’s time to get a little dirty! Need our guys to play with hunger and fire!

Imagine Runyan here with how Hurts is playing....agree, he would be the guy to say exactly what AJ doesn't want to.

Right his BIG attribute was his ability to run(best on broken plays not called ones) and now that he got the big money, he decides he's not going to use the asset that got him the big money. He's not even that effective at the tush push. As of now I agree, Hurts is OVERPAID. He's making a great case to become a BU after he's done here unless he start earning his paycheck

This is why running QBs are not long term solutions. " dual threat" is not dual without running. You take that aspect away...look at Russell Wilson... not the same...it's not an ideal way to play a long career...now you have a super stan like Ham...." the goal is to get him to the playoffs healthy...etc...and basically saying he is ok with the QB not using a major part of his game....Oops...I mean THE MAJOR PART OF HIS GAME....safe to say, the part of his game that is the reason he made it into the league.

" No Mas you just don't appreciate a dual threat QB" and " the goal is fo get him to the playoffs healthy "

So the classic Ham contradiction of himself.

For me... I have always thought Hurts isn't getting another contract here...let him run and run now while he can. Maximize these next 2 or three years... he won't be the QB 2029...just a matter if he makes it that long.

And Siri will get fired without a chance with a new QB... he will go down with the ship like Doug did with Wentz. Unless Howie and Lurie change their ways and realize the situation and act on it.

You starting to figure out AJ's issue....not " i need the stats " idea like you kept saying.

We can name the trophy after Andy Reid ...that's his level of success in 14 years. The last 8 seasons 3 playoff wins total.

Siri on his 5th season... all double digit wins so far...playoffs every year so far... much tougher schedule this year at 8-4... 6 playoff wins ...two trips vs only one for Andy...and actually winning it in BTA fashion.

But hey... we all set different standards i guess.

One guy the main reason for success…the other guy the main impediment to overcome.

What success? The success that isn't good enough for you right now...but you drooled over worshipping the other guy for 14 years?

Now..the bleak part.... the QB is basically untouchable at the moment and is in a bad place regarding his play and fit within the organization. That's a problem, a major one. Because unless he gets injured, no shot he comes out regardless of how bad he gets

Yep

I didn't miss it. I was(like everyone) searching for the weak link. Although the O line isn't lights out like it was, there had to be a reason for Barks dramatic fall off. Also the drama with AJ. There was only 1 answer left. After I read the article and it said it came from more than 1 source, I knew what I posted was right. I didn't want it to be. This really Puts Siri and Patullo in a vice. It's a self inflicted wound and it's causing fans to attack their own coaching staff. As you said there's the rub as a HC. Pull him and you piss off Lurie, but as a coach you should make the call to play the people who win. IDK as a HC how you can succeed with an agreement your QB is not going to play for the reasons he got the big money. Did Howie and Lurie know about this "agreement"? It's hard for me to fathom a QB who would hurt his own team on purpose, but it seems that's where we are. I'm seeing a selfish QB who quit on his team. So sad for the other 52

As I said, if your QB quits on you, no one else is going to give their all. It seems Hurts is not a leader, just a selfish child, who makes excuses, takes the "blame" for an agreement that he is not going to give 100%. So sad and demoralizing for everyone else. He got his ring, now he's a quitter

That's what I was talking about before those reports came out. I feel so bad for the team(and I posted the reports) it makes me sad, the selfishness.

I think we both have understood that and tried to convey it. And yeah, I said it looks like the Ped/Wentz debacle all over again. He will get fired either way unless Hurts decides to play, but now that seems unlikely. Hurts will make enough to survive for life and he can watch as others fall away due to his selfishness

And McKee is going to want the chance to play. So it's a decision Lurie will need to make. McKee isn't going to be here unless Hurts is pulled, then we will have NO QB and the rebuild is harder on everyone. Ham's "leader" has turned out to be a false god after all

Me and TD123 have been McKee fans for awhile. He is a talent that will be wasted if he sits around here much longer, but as you said Howie doesn't want to eat the money. I'm sorry, I think McKee would light this offense up

I already had if figured out LOL. WE saw where AJ was making his break and the ball was not there. No stats come from running an empty route tree. Hurts decided he's not going to play,he will just go through the motions while others take the fall for him. Fans of course, are blaming the wrong people and egging the wrong persons house

There is always a chance Hurts decides to play.....like we know he can play, but this is not it this year. So he will either fire up what he is paid to do,or this team is done. It's up to Hurts. As far as earlier,Hurts was playing just enough to win, he is still trying to do that, but now the supporting cast is giving up and we're losing and the defense is tired of saving games

AJ was trying to say it....without saying it. He's not the type to post cryptic messages, but he' doesn't want to make waves and hurt others. IDK how this team is going to react to what came to light(which I suspected already) No one is going to thrilled with the news. Hurts will either decide to play for this team or he will lose this team. As he keeps saying "It's on me". Yep, I agree, now what you gonna do???

Still gonna die on that hill huh? Well, let's hope your boy does the right thing and changes his "agreement". So sad for the entire organization to have given big money to a quitter. Of course he can change that if he wants. Let's see what he decides
