Ham, your comment above makes no sense. How does ”using his legs work against a QBs passer rating”?

If Hurts throws an incomplete pass...it counts as a negative towards the passer rating. If he holds the ball and takes a dumb 12 yard sack instead ( even though he is out of the pocket) it does NOT count towards passer rating....AT ALL

Stat padding? he came out of the game and padded McKee’s trade value stats https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/gamelog/_/id/4685201/tanner-mckee 3/3 passes, just HEROIC LOL. See how useless that stat can be? Like McKee but I still understand 3/3 isn't heroic LOL

What affects QB rating? - Games Learning Society

Unlocking the Secrets of QB Rating: What Really Matters? The QB rating, or passer rating, is a metric used to evaluate the performance of quarterbacks in American football. Understanding what factors

14. Does passer rating double count completion percentage?

Yes, passer rating arguably double-counts completion percentage by favoring quarterbacks who tend to throw short passes, regardless of the effectiveness of those passes.

I thought Siri play calls sucked? Or was that Patullo? In fact Siri was more "hands on" for the LV game, so as usual you have no clue how our system works

I just am man enough…not too mention am hoping for….quality. I call it like I see it. I’ve believe credit IS due to the coaching on Goedert evolution/utilization. They’ve used him well in some of these situations.

Manipulated facts don't make me a hater, but they DO make you look silly. Carry on. Up until the LV game he was at 7.4. Then he plays a 2 win team and somehow he is a hero LOL. Just ridiculous cherry picking

Carry on I will….maybe the stats I pulled up had an extra caveat…just something I came across. So that’s no hill I’m dying on or anything. Really feel what Siri has been doing has been pulling Hurts back from striking deep nearly as much as he was the master at doing for years.

It does with #Hurtshater weaponizing it against Hurts for not throwing the TD. By him scoring a secured TD with his legs it doesn’t count towards boosting his passer rating. Which they try and manipulate into somehow him scoring a TD is ball hogging and being such a lesser QB.

Ai puts up ALL kinds of manipulated stories and "facts". Basically any hack can make up anything they want and make it look real. But our whole society has become fake now

It’s really nothing important enough for me to go back to dig up anymore than that. I read it or watched it somewhere though is what prompted me to post it obviously. AI did back it up. I’m fine with him not just looking to throw the deep ball. I want some more crossing patterns. I think Smitty and AJ are capable of most routes. Yet don’t see that variety being utilized. On another note I’ve been really pointing towards YAC Creation plays belief. I’d just love if Hurts could just throw for a couple of yards and Shipley(anybody) runs with it. Totally works for me! Big fan of hit ‘em everywhere.

Not really....running for a yard or bo gain ... or a loss... has zero effect on the passer rating...however throwing incomplete pass does have a negative.

If he runs it in…he’s not passing it in…which you weaponize against him ..as being lesser.

I have NP with their round 1 pick. I have not researched their round 2 CB as I had CB first, then OT. They have my boy Malachi Fields in round 3. Although I felt he could be had later, again I have NP with this choice. The OT from Utah is supposedly one with all the attributes. if that is so, then sure grab him!!! I will look at the later picks ,well LATER LOL,but if I got those 3 I would consider that an successful draft. I will go through each of these choices and pan them out for myself. Not that they care, but we know alot of final decisions rest with the combine and the 30 personals we have. I stoll have Colton Hood first, but it's an early and changeable mock for now so I will get to work

Nope...it's getting the shovel pass TD which is in effect a forward handoff.. that gets him the passer rating up... taking the dumb sack as he does plenty of times. Instead of throwing the ball away also prevents his rating from dropping

I could care less how the ball gets in the end zone...however I would prefer an incomplete pass than taking a dumb sack.

the entire game was a stat padding event. c'mon, at least put some effort into your hurts cucking.

You need to stop confusing Ham with facts and logic 🤣

Should be another nice stat padding event vs the Wuss. Then maybe we see the 2's in the 4th(maybe even get a series of the 3's). I think the Wuss will be doing the same. I'm sure they want to lose to get higher in the draft order. Be nice to see some Sam Howell do well. His 2023 season wasn't terrible. Maybe we showcase him a bit vs his old team as possible trade bait while we bring McCord along

hurts crawls out of his three-week long sucking bender and ham wants to glory hole the qb.

It doesn't.

You know that and I know that, but it seems that Ham doesn’t know that.

I get your point, but arguably taking the sack results in a higher passer rating than if he simply threw the ball away, which would be both an attempt and an incompletion. The completion percentage component of passer rating is higher with the sack (or scramble for positive yards) than it is with the attempted pass/throw away.

You hit the nail on the head. Read your own words. "a secured TD with his legs it doesn’t count towards boosting his passer rating.”

The numbers don’t lie. Your original statement copied and pasted below was incorrect.

You clearly don’t listen to what Hurts himself says about the SB award he won. Shortly after the SB he publicly said it is meaningless. The only thing that matters is the road ahead. Why do you ignore what he said (and says). His words are very wise. You should heed them.

You are ignoring the numbers. If he runs it in his rating is calculated as a LOWER number than if he throws it in. The numbers do not lie.

Now that I’ve caught up on the earlier post, you said this for Ham’s education more than once. I apologize for being redundant with my post above.

Judon released by Miami. He is 33 but worth a look as a short term rotational guy for the stretch run(if any)

Correct.... and Hurts absolutely takes sacks instead pf throwing ot away ... that plus the shovel pass ( which is really a long forward handoff) ... all adds up to helping his passer rating. It's a little inflated
