Sure,but why keep a guy around if you have no plans to use him later??? I'm well aware it doesn't affect the roster NOW,but it's pointless to keep him around if you are planning to cut him anyhow. What other FB will compete with him for the FB job?

Because we going to need bodies to fill out our roster again he will likely compete for a job but I think he is far from a lock like he was this year

Once again there is no competition at FB. I think we had some designed plays for him. It's his job,there is no competition for it unless we draft another FB

In my mind if you are even going to keep a FB on the roster…part of that job is being super durable.

Latu seems like legitimate competition at FB or in that similar role while also giving us a 3rd TE option and that doesn’t count for if we add anyone else in the offseason or if we even look to use a FB moving forward so many variables

Would be a horrible take if it wasn’t so accurate. Not elite LB or DBs…..yet Hurts been making good plays by just throwing the ball away five times already clearly noticed. Bad predictable run plays that have gone from second and short to unfavorable third downs.
