In my view you don’t trade back for one particular player. You trade back to a tier. Said describing WR in 2020. Said it in a different draft concerning S. Just judging each individual draft for strengths. What makes sense to me.

If you further look to our team specifically what makes TE such a huge need or wish?

Plus Moore has been on record not wishing to roll with two TE sets nearly as much as we have been.

I would honestly like to see this record of Moore saying he doesn’t want 2 TEs… Moore never really had TRs in any of his stops and has leaned into what he had which was WRs

Wouldny shock me if he preferred 3 WR sets just I never seen anything about him saying it

Moore likes to utilize this brand spanking new concept we never have seen before called ‘motion.’ Just wait until you see an O that presnap motions a WR. It’s like speaking a foreign language for us.

I know what Moore does that isn’t giving me a link of him stating on the record that he wants 3 WRs lol… you can motion a TE

depending on who we listen to Sportrac has us at 6th best w/ 29.3 mill, OTC 7th at 28.8 mill in cap, so we're in good shape for after the draft.

Juan Rivera was asked about the East. He said that clearly the Cowboys were on top last season…the best team. But he said…Eagles have made the offseason moves to where he puts them just on top of the Cowboys right now. States though that this is Jerry time of year entering the draft and they could easily overtake the Eagles after this.

Bears are making a huge change up. Great looking new stadium. Dome in Chicago for Caleb.

I'm hearing we go to a dome soon too.  Apparently going to be built next to Linc opposite side of Wells Fargo Center.

Rivera has so much knowledge of the division thought his opinion was worth a listen

You have to dig up info yourself. Just know it was some of the first things I heard and made aware of once we hired him.

Word around the team has been that Moore will use way more "11 personnel” sets (3 WR, 1 TE) than his predecessor did, and the passing game will take on a much more vertical approach. That has been the case so far in training camp.

This was a quote after Moore was hired in LA

Chargers understood hiring Moore meant less conservative two TE sets

You trade up for a player....not a tier.   Trading back obviously you don't know if a player will be there.

The fact if Goedert gets injured our offense sufferered.   Plus he is 30

This would be shocking news to me

We brought in a legit second TE

Just pretty foolish to trade back for one specific player. A position you can. Identifying a grouping of four players being ranked similar at a position group you can make the educated move towards.

Lmao so what your saying is this is ham made up nonsense and was never actually stated by Moore himself got it

Again who did the Chargers have at TE to use two TE sets???? On top of the fact Chargers had one of if not the best slot WRs in the nfl in Allen.

Would make perfect sense Moore would look to use more 11 personnel based on the talent he had

But none of that is Moore coming out stating he prefers 3 WR sets

Well but then I actually dug up a small nugget of how the change was coming to LA with hiring Moore. 12 personnel was on the outs for them with him preferring 11 personnel. Guess the proof is in the pudding and we’ll see. I’m operating under the belief our O prefers 11 personnel now and will utilize motion.

That is speculation on another person with "hearsay”

I have no issue with going heavy 3 WR sets no issue of we go 2 TE sets of we have the players for it.

At the end of the day it’s about getting the best players in the field and utilizing them correctly

Think it’s a pretty save assumption we go with 3 WRs lol unless we drafted a TE like Bowers.

It all comes down to personal I’m not just going to run 2 TEs just for the sake of running 2 TEs just like I wouldn’t run 3 WR just to run 3 WRs it’s based on my personal.
