Plenty of reason and connections I’ve put together here. He’s a stud! That’s where I begin. New coach…he’s been injured while together….money involved….Vikes let some gifted Oline go elsewhere previously….our Oline coach connection….he would very likely seamlessly come in under his similar to same scheme leading our guys.

Draft is great. We all study it and comb through it. Heck probably headstrong enough to believe some day three picks are filling team needs and contributing right away year one foolishly at times.

Right 1,000% conjecture and totally pointless based what "you put together". If you heard concrete news that's one thing, pipe dreams and fantasy are another. Proctor. I mean we still have a combine to go through. 5 pounds heavier than Lane I believe, but certainly a potential stud. If Lane stays he can play RG his first year so he's not riding pine. If Lane retires suddenly, he would be ready to roll(with rookie mistakes as they all have) If Lane stays and we get Becton back, I see NP letting the kid learn a year knowing that he is the heir apparent and in line for big paydays down the road. Although I hate letting a round 1 pick sit, when you are in line to replace a HOF pro bowler, dues must be paid. And Lane has been a bit fragile lately, so he may not even have to sit the full year. Just my 2 cents. As an interesting side note, Proctor has played the left side. Moving to the right is different,so we'd have to be confident he could make that move. he could also play LG year 1 if Dickerson retires since playing on the left side is his natural position while he learns in camp and practices to transition to the right side, so in any of these scenarios, he's not going to be reading comics and chewing gum on the sidelines LOL
