That’s where the backloading of contracts plays a heavy role. Rosie can sign and bring in new blood and only take a 3 mil cap hit on good size contracts. So this will always be an appealing option.

Not really... it didn't effect Reddick one bit.

3 years 45 mil

2 years $32.2 mil.

They saved the $13 mil, which is less than the $15 mil per..wasn't like it was 20 mil savings.

Don't over think it.

With Reddick it comes down to I’d like to win the SB. Having our top pass rusher I see as aiding that goal. Losing him and Cox feels like we took a step backwards along the Dline. Just simple and basic as that. Huff broke out with his career season. But how much of that reflects from being on a very talented D with the ex-Niners D mind as HC? Sauce Gardner locking down the receiver aids the pass rusher…that symbiotic relationship I previously was referring to. Plus he just came in super fresh only to pass rush.

Sweat was given permission to look for a trade?

This comes after the Eagles were reportedly fielding trade calls on Sweat, who is entering the final year of his contract

Lol.. Google Kelce talking about the playbook and how he didn't look at it once since they went to iPad.

Said the rookies will have zero problems picking it up.

Gotta love a dude that keeps it simple.

Saved 13 mil by having our best defender play for the Jets.

What does Fangio, Siri, Howie and Lurie think.... you think you want to win a Superbowl more than them?

You don't think they made the decision because they think it's best for the team?

Again...say 3 years 15 million each year....it would have saved $15 million to have Reddick ( who isn't our best defender)  play for the Jets.

No extra savings by unloading Reddick due to any method you think Howie did for that contract.

Was funny.

Jason did acknowledge the difference in their positions and how that impacts the need for the playbook.

"It's different in the pass game. In the run game we've got like four or five new concepts a year," Jason said.

Ohhh.   " fielding calls"   because other teams were inquiring.    Not that they publicly gave permission for Reddick to seek a trade... but they were not hanging up the phone without a conversation that the other team started about Sweat.   I see.

Jason also is on the field for pass plays too.

What Jason Kelce said is he hated the way they try to describe and install the plays in the playbook.

Nobody in their right mind goes out there 'play side gap comma number two.' No! The center and the guard are going there, I got this motherf-----," the former Eagle said.

They were trying to trade Sweat or Reddick…it was known.

Yeah... in short... it's simple football, no need to over complicated things.  Its not rocket science.

Love the comment... the podcast is great.

That’s why he’s talking about how he doesn’t need much explanation on run plays …but pass plays are different. Jason understood Inside and Outside zone runs without needing to dive into his playbook constantly.

Probably better if they publicly gave Sweat permission to seek a trade though....right?

Travis was great at the end there...lol.

So Sweat is so much more coveted than Reddick? You can’t actually believe that. Fielding calls for the player understood to be available for trade.

Veteran Josh Sweat was also rumored to be available

Pretty funny how Travis is talking about even under the same guy AR this whole time still adding plenty of stuff. Really sucks we don’t have him as our coach anymore. He freakin owned Gannon in that SB.

Really sucks that he sucked pretty bad the last few years here.

His GM knew to move in front of the Saints for Mahomes...and Spags won't draw interest to be a head coach Amy longer.... and here he is soaking it in.

Rumored... fielding calls...  to me, why would the Eagles not listen.

Much different than giving permission to seek a trade.

Nagy and AR both made the GM go get Mahomes. But yeah…wonder what they knew about Sean Payton wanting Mahomes also?

That’s what we have potentially I like with Fangio, He is happy and content being a quality DC. Not going to be looked at for HC jobs.

So Fangio should be here for awhile. They invested in building him his D. More important than Siri and Moore…whom may or may not be here after this season.

We know Lurie and Rosie will hire an O minded HC. So Fangio can be pretty well setup here.

That’s where the anti-Reddick sentiment could come into play.
