Why would you want to pay him $2 million?

What Scott made as a backup just seems like the amount the eagles would be willing to spend on a backup RB….

What does Sanders offer the team?   He is a first and second down RB...gives nothing as far as pass blocking or receiving and nothing on special teams.

He could pay the Eagles to play...still makes no sense.

Exactly what you stated a backup RB capable of filling the early down roles in the likely possibility Barkley misses time.  And even spell Barkley on those early downs at times.

Sanders was also a pretty solid pass blocker even if he wasn’t a great receiver.

So yea at the price of 2m which is what we paid Boston Scott last year yea id be alright with him as the backup think he is better option then Scott was and what Gainwell offers us now as well.

Zero,we have the RB's we need, don't see a need to pay anyone else. If Bark went down we can add one. Gains Ship and the other kid would be ok in rotational RBBC. Would just need to alter the playbook a bit

What does it hurt to pay a player of its an upgrade? Obviously wouldn’t pay Sanders contract but finding a guy around that 2m mark for a year like we paid Scott last year that could be an upgrade over Gains don’t see any problem with it.

Why pay before you know what Shipley can do? Why pay before you see who gets cut from other teams. I see no rush on this if we add one at all. If we do,fine but no need to rush out before the smoke clears

Key part of it was WR Terrace Marshall. Was thinking he’s better than his non production has shown in Charlotte so far.

So basically...he sits until Barkley gets hurt....for $2 million.

Boston Scott played special teams.   Like he actually played ... Sanders won't play unless Barkley gets hurt.

It's not 2019 rookie Sanders...it's the Sanders that fumbled twice in the Superbowl that they wanted no part of resigning.

I realize you are a Penn State fan... but that ship has sailed.

Btw...spending $2 mil on Scott  when they other 2 guys cost you less... compared to paying Sanders that after Barkley was signed.... I don't think they spend that additional money on the position.

Scott was popular in the locker room...and played special teams.  Sanders gives neither.

Sanders in 2024...not an upgrade.

Dak Prescott’s 189 passes without an interception the most by a quarterback at the Linc, it’s 2nd-most by any quarterback ever at any stadium.

How is his win percentage in those games?

Whats he won about as many as he’s lost……I don’t know what it is it? 3-3

He only threw 189 passes in 6 games?

It's a weird situation with Dak in Philly

2023... Eagles win

2022... Dak out

2021...Dak beats Eagles backups last week of season as Eagles rest for playoffs

2020... Dak out

2019... Dak chokes as Eagles win the battle for division

2018... Dak wins

2017 ... Dak wins 6-0 vs backups like 2021

2016... Dak plays a series

In reality Dak is 1-2 in Philly... win in 2018... losses in 2019 and 2023.   But congrats on beating the backups twice on meaningless games at the end.

What would be nice to see is Hurts getting his first win in Dallas this year.

Read where Bark seems really comfortable here. Trying to learn the club culture. I think he will like it much better than NY and I think he will like this Oline better also

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/eagles-sign-former-first-round-wide-receiver-john-ross-to-one-year-deal/  Ross actually retired BEFORE Parker,so that theory went up in smoke LOL. Hope he can stick at least as a BU because are still a bit thin in that area if he can't make this comeback work

If he does prevail? We are likely in depth troubles.

So the University of Wisconsin was given a grant from the NFL to study hamstring injuries….with their big WR having hamstring injuries occurring each year since. Pretty wild the foresight that took place for the league to help out the Pack here.

My super early record prediction is a 10 win season.

You know that Sanders wasn’t popular in the locker room? Yea he doesn’t give the special teams but he is a better reciever/ runner and blocker then sanders

Like by all means I’m not willing to trade for Sanders and pay him 7m a year but 2m for a backup RB when our backup RB accounted for 120+ snaps last year.

mind you our top RB only had 220… I not against paying that. Lol

Just a stupid take to say Sanders isn’t an upgrade our current backups.
