A reason to potentially pass on drafting a LB exponentially decrease if Rosie actually pays any fair wage to a LB. This kid is a work in progress. He's worth a round 5 pick IMO

Wouldn’t shock me if he took a slight discount How Much is slight? You know Howie won't go for more than 2-3 mil on a RB(s)

The guy I have in round 2 could start maybe right away(but expect rookie mistakes as he learns his craft)

Do I think the Eagles are going to go out and pay a RB on a down year and that was hurt not long ago 12m a year with the opportunity to earn more???? Is this seriously a question no we aren’t going to offer Barkley that kind of deal lol. Could I see us getting Barkley on a 1 year deal fairly cheap with incentives for him. Yes. really will come down to the market for Barkley but if I had to guess we only land Barkley if he isn’t getting the offers he wants so he opts to take the 1 year prove it deal to increase his value next year

March 8, 20242 yr So Kelce did a lot of our pass protection calls at the LoS another aspect that going to have be covered…. Would we trust Cam Juergens with this responsibility? Is Hurts going to make the protection calls at the line now? Definitely a key area to look at during the season especially since we already have issues with the blitz

Under Kelce's tutelage,I see no reason he won't be fine Obviously someone has to take the job doesn’t mean they will be good at it…. Losing someone who has played as much as Kelce and seen everything making calls is huge and not something that will likely be easily replaced. Just a part of the mental side of the game that will likely take a hit this season for us.
March 8, 20242 yr So the Eagles comp picks got released we received 3rd pick 97 two 5ths picks 170-171 6th pick 210
March 8, 20242 yr Just random thoughts on the O OL think the obvious is Cam is going to C but that opens RG… would we go with Steen at RG? Would it shock anyone if we draft OL in round 1? RB- wouldn’t not shock me that we get Barkley on a 1 year deal. Barkley is at an odd age being 27 but having a strong season then hitting FA next year could get him a much better payday. Still think we come away with a RB in the draft and if we don’t land Barkley some nice cheap option Dillion/Moss come to mind off the bat but JK Dobbins could be a sleeper grab hasn’t been able to stay healthy but if he does could be really good. QB- just wouldn’t shock me if we took a QB fairly high in the same mindset that we had with Wentx having a backup is a must and Hurts has dealt with injuries and his playing style won’t help him going forward. Diffference I will give Hurts he won’t see it as a threat and I mean that in the best possible way(honestly might push him harder). WR- the 3rd option talk is just odd to me we do need an upgrade but realistically this guy would be the 4th option at best behind AJ/Smith/Geodart and if we landed Barkley could even be 5th in the passing game

Hard to believe we keep him around anymore. I loved his scrappy effort. His always having to prove against everybodies pre judgements against him. Felt like never was a single coach or personnel guy that was ever in his corner. Just was that type player to refuse to let everything against him stop his dream. Now I think he’s been capable of posting some legit stats to go along with the argument all along. He couldn’t get coaches to completely erase their mental holdups when thinking on him as a part of the roster. But he’s always been that player that just showed up giving everything he could when it was asked of him. Talent and quality coaching I do believe to be so very key in the NFL. But have also watched enough of the game over my lifetime to have seen a group of guys it’s the makeup of a Boston Scott type player come together as a team to be better as units…as a whole than any All Pro talent can ever be on his own.
March 8, 20242 yr Free agency coming soon. The ifs, ands and buts won't matter as the actual moves will start.

He just wasn’t that good lol like great spell back but he wasn’t the quality of RB that is needed full time. you love this try hard guys that over achieve there talent like that DT that was meh but the reality is they just are meh in the grand scheme of things. Think Scott is solid but in the dime a dozen RB league we are in now just not great

March 9, 20242 yr Interesting who S.I. has as the worst free agent signing of 2023... a certain overpaid DT that left the Eagles.

Why is lane on our roster then or Mailata, Dickerson none of these guys make protection calls at the line lmao. It was something kelce did. How much of any time did Cam even get to call the protections at the LoS? Also far different then being in a class room talking about it v being down on the field making the call during the game adjusting to D. Cam likely will end up fine but I’d fully expect him to have growing pains making those calls and likely to beat on the mental side things Kelce was likely used to seeing playing for 13 seasons.

LMAO. Because it's not Lane's Mailiata's Dickersons job, they have other jobs. If he can't do his job as a center,he needs replaced and they have kept him on the roster. I doubt they would if he couldn't do his job unless they plan on a vet FA taking over. I would think being mentored by a 13 year vet pro bowler would give you pretty good training. Besides that(not being a rookie tossed into the fire) he also has coaches and another full year of camp, practices and pre season games to iron out whatever issues he may have. he will make his mistakes there I would assume
