See you gotta keep up FL. You can’t try and crucify me a year later from my ideas. Clearly Queen would have been a great move one whole year ago. He wasn’t a proven elite guy last offseason. That’s when you make those moves. You gotta predict what guys will do. Now Queen going to sign for so much more.

Yet you want to pay Patrick Queen who you will pay at his high mark? I love your contradictions

All this offseason my thoughts have been now turned to Azeez. You gotta keep up. Last years moves don’t still apply to this offseason. Whole new slate there buddy.

A QB who can read the field

I say quality coaching that sets us up to succeed. No killer dumb coaching decisions. But mostly gotta have the personnel.

The personnel to go 10-1 doesn’t matter. Gotta have a team that can beat the Niners.

The guy that trashed the city and fans because his car was stolen? yeah excellent character(LMAO)

Exactly why those type character guys shouldn’t be the targets for that elite top positional money contracts. Character and leadership matter. Top pay guys need to show the next guys coming in how it’s done.

Again Johnson made 8m in one year maybe more depending on incentives and how far Detroit got in the playoffs and likely to get a new deal this year…. I’m going to say he made the right decision he likely to make way more then the 3 year 24m deal we offered him

3 years at 24 is so much better than 1 year at 8

The terrible money managing cowboys are supposedly in on trying to bring in Reddick.

How do you know he's cheap? After starting why would he accept a BU role? Mar clearly on his downside,so I can understand that. Brissett has mostly always been a BU and has accepted that role. he is familiar with our staff. He's the best BU in my opinion if Hurts goes down, you don't need to retool the offense. The styles are similar enough

How do I know he will be cheap. Because the Broncos HAVE to pay him $30 million….it’s guaranteed. So Eagles could agree to pay him league minimum. Broncos are on the hook for ALL the rest. Thats how I know he will be cheap.

It was more of a joke anyway. He won’t accept a backup role. But Hurts better improve and quickly or the Eagles will be looking for a new starter soon.

Brissett is not a runner and NOT that mobile. Decent QB but not taking any team very far.

Nah…he was third round grade. So I’d expect he’s climbing well into the second now. The first round would be very steep price.

LOL right we pick at 50,no one will take him before us? No one will go at 33-49? Therefore if you want him you'd have to spend the 22 pick. Not hard to understand

Not really. Its all about where players can reach to fit in your team.

Changing the subject

Only difference would be actually having a stud starter in the first place. Swift and Sanders both could have been half a two headed monster backfield. But they each were alone instead. Sanders or Seift alone? Or a legit elite playmaker like Saquan? Easy choice there.

Right, you take the 2 back backfield,we have always done it. When have we had a 3 down back in recent memory???? We've always had a tandem and/or stable of multiple backs. You just don't follow the teams history. When you rely(as I keep stating) on one back and he goes down, you have no answers for your running game. How bad were the gnats when Barkley went down?? Howie prefers to spend his money on the lines, why we have pro bowl linemen???? If you have a good O line any RB will put up the numbers. You only need a stud back when your O line is trash. Pick one way or the other because you can;t afford both. Obviously this team picks option 1,a good O line

That’s what has become tough. I was all about the Patrick Queen trade and extensions last offseason. To correct you. Was willing to pay him big money. Would have been an excellent time to do so. But now you’re right. He’s top dollar. So if you read my thoughts and posts you would have noticed me shifting to Azeez now. The fast vet proven young LB on the rise.

LMAO, so you're willing to pay players YOU want, but any Howie chooses you aren't willing to pay. As I said before,if you recognize all these players put your app ion at Novacare. And you also assume all these players you want are just begging to play for us.So if Azeez is on the rise, you are the only one who knows that? The other 31 teams are just clueless? The guys agent doesn't now his client is on the rise? And besides 31 other teams seeing this, there are 52 other spots to fill, yet you think you know exactly what to do when, but you always want guys "cheap". Well you can dream all you want. That being said,I still would like Luvu from Carolina. He is young. is he on the rise? I think so,but I sign him for his play NOW. Maybe he gets better, maybe this is his ceiling. You can only go by the here and now and why Howie is hard to get a long term contract out of. Most times he will do a 1 year, that way you aren't risking signing a player long term at his ASSUMED high, only to get stuck after a year with a player in decline. Rookie contracts are 4 years(or 5). If that player is "on the rise",teams have a chopice to make,Pay the man or let him walk because you don't have the money OR you think he has peaked. There is no way to see the future, but you claim you can. If you can do better than Howie,by all means go take his job away

ALOT of players would have been good moves a year ago. How many "good move" players can you afford???? I can keep up just fine, don't worry about me,it's your dreamland attitude that bugs me. You want every top player at every position and it YOU can keep up,that is not possible with 31 other GM's/scouting depts/coaching staffs all seeing the same things. The after you decide on the same players as everyone else, you have to figure out if your budget will allow it,so stop telling me I need to keep up. You need to move into reality from the Twilight Zone

You asked what we needed and I responded to a point blank question, try it sometime. We SURROUNDED Hurts with top level weapons, yet he hogs the ball relentlessly. Sorry you are blinded by his light, but the truth remains. You asked what we needed to beat those teams and that is it. Sorry you can't see it. he regressed from the prior year,so should we dump him because he reached his ceiling? Clearly all your talk about "players on the rise" just went to hell in a hand bag if you want to talk about Hurts bonehead play last year

It amazes me just how down everybody here seems to be on the best franchise QB we’ve ever had.

So what changed after going 10-1????? Did we lose both WR's? Were all our RB's out? Every team deals with injuries. Nobody forced Hurts to take a JV sack in the EZ, just morbidly STUPID play by Hurts. No moronic plays like that will beat the 9ers let alone the Bucs. You need coherent QB play and that was lacking. We won alot of close games that we should have been blowouts, but we won because we had the talent DESPITE Hurts poor play

You’re not wrong but the point was I’d rather pay the 9-10m a year price for  a 3 down guy like Barkley then 7m for guy like Swift who is a liability in pass protection and reasons we seen gainwell in key spots over the season.

RBBC fine with also but we can go cheaper and get similar production as to swift… Moss from the Colts could be another nice add mid round RB in the draft… Singletsry from the Texans possibly, take a flier on Dobbins hopefully he can stay healthy, CEH been a bust for KC but only 24 former 1st rounder

Idk... I an skeptical Barkley gets 11 mil or Swift gets 7 mil.    There are a lot of available RBs... some got paid last year and didn't show much...ie. Pollard and Sanders.

Websites may give estimated values but idk if teams will want to pay?

For me, idk about paying anyone other than CMC.  Barkley is like the JV version of him ,so I get your idea of paying a little extra over the other guys... but I would scale down the price for each level if it was me.  Say Barkley at 7 mil vs Swift at 4 mil.

If the market says 11 mil and 7 mil respectively...then I would pass.  Plenty of other quality options that are cheap.

The QB remains my concern

The hate was so deep before 2022. Just drilling the poor kid. Then he carried our team to the playoffs in 2022. Then we can’t win a single game without Hurts. Even having a top backup in Shew. We turn things over to a first time playcaller. All under Siri that pretty much proved he can’t successfully run his own O. So the O gets completely figured out. Still Hurts overcame a squad never got on the same page. No playcalling cohesion. Posted the most TDs our franchise has ever had. That’s the guy that it’s so dire he improved and stops holding us back?

What impressed you about the 10-1? Other than the fact Hurts kept squeezing out wins against all odds every week.

LOL scoring last year was DOWN from the previous year so STOP. yeah Hurts hogs the tush push TD's due to the O LINE. NO O line no tush push it was 1/2 our offense despite thetalent Howie brought in please stop the baloney!!! Hurts was AWFUL last year

LMAO Don't we run a RPO offense? Doesn't Hurts decide which option he takes???? Why is it called the RPO?
