Whenever I see Larys Strong, he reminds me of Karl Pilkington, but without the hair

square

Call me contrarian but in a show with absolutely nobody to root for, I've found the greens are at least interesting. But then they have Larys so they suck too.

Is he colorblind after serving up Otto and going against Aemond?

Spoiler

Underwhelming episode. Feels like the show needs half the cast being taken out to make it interesting again

Curious where they end the season off with. The sons death, the suicide, the capture, or her death? They're all pretty close in timeline to happen

Cristian Cole having a better character arc than Jaime Lannister wasn't on my bingo card.

Spoiler from last nights episode

While Criston Cole became hateable once he began crying on the ship about running off to be peasants, and was someone you grew to dislike more and more with each passing episode, I did not enjoy watching him go out the way he did. I was still "against" him, but I still wanted to see him go out in a more resounding way.

I sort of agree - could have done a little more there. I guess they gave him his moment where he cut down like 30 dudes right before that. It also felt cheap that they sent him out in almost the exact same way that Jacaerys was taken out.

I have not got this deep into the text yet, but I guess this scene plays out almost identical in "the histories", so it sadly is an underwhelming conclusion there

I get it, and you're probably right, but the showrunners haven't had any issues with making major changes between the show and the book before

Supposedly, in the book, he was supposed to be at Harrenhal now with the Targ and Alys instead of where he died. Been ages since I read it, so can't confirm either way.

Depending on how they end these last 2 episodes... season 4 could be packed with big events since it'll be the last season

i was only watching because I thought this was last season. No wonder they are starting new stupid shite. After a few strong episodes to start HoD is back to its usual renaissance fair BS. This last episode made no sense on any level. Even grounded characters like Alicent are just churning butter. Plot points appear and vanish for no reason. It's really bad television, i was hanging on for the main event dragon battle but c'mon.

I'm not sure what parts you're upset with but they're starting to build up to this one event that'll basically cascade in a bunch of things happening that'll be the next season

Don't click if you don't want to know how the series likely ends

book spoilers

last warning lol

I don't know if they're going to have season 3 end with Aemond getting killed or Helaena jumping to her death. If they end it on Aemond dying then season 4 should have the suicide, riot, fleeing, capture, and then the dragon eating scene. I figure they may end the series after she dies and not go into anymore generations past her

If anyone was paying attention in Game of Thrones, the ending was already spoiled. Or at least one major part lol
